I just stopped in for a quick bite, polite, great food and awesome service!
Great ice cream, but obviously this is a matter of opinion. $20.52 for ice cream purchase and I handed her $21. I was hoping for 2 quarters back instead of.48 cents of coinage. She started counting out .48 cents and I asked, any way I could just get 2 quarters? Her reply, No, I'm sorry, we can't do that. I said I really didn't want all the coins, it's. 02 cents. No, I'm sorry, we can't do that. We'll we all have choices and I guess I don't have to throw a $1 in the tip jar either. A business really needs to weigh out what matters. I run a business and I have given back a lot more than .02 cents in good gesture.
Great little shop where you can pull up with your boat or car. As the name implies, it is actually a "tie-up." They sell marine fuel, bait, sandwiches, beer, wine, liquor, everything. It is a "one-stop-shop" and the prices are very reasonable. This is a must-go place while in Harrison, whether you're on the lake or on the road.
This place is always a delight. The staff is very helpful and the food is the same quality as a typical ‘XYZ House of Pizza’. There is one woman there, I think she’s the manager. She once said her son works at the creamery who I swear would give you the shirt off her back if it meant making your day better. An absolute delight of a person. The best part of the Tie Up is the creamery next door. The staff are fast and, again, very helpful. The ice cream portions are also very large!! If I had to leave a criticism… their waffle cone is too small for their large ice cream. The Gazebo in Bridgton has a MUCH larger cone. But honestly, a medium is more than enough for most people. Prices are fair all around. Sandwiches, gas, ice cream, etc. despite the massive inflation lately. Love this place!!
Great place to tie up and relax to get a great bite to eat and a couple brews for the boat ride home! Highly recommend to stop by we were surprised on how good the food was and there was a great place to sit outside. Cheap prices too!
Quaint boat store has great take out and ice cream right next door! Picnic tables to eat at with view of the lake.
Stopped in to grab a sub to take home. We opted for the‘Steak Bomb’. What a delicious sub! It has been a long time since we had a treat such as this. Plenty of ingredients, well worth what we paid. Highly recommend a visit here!
We always go here when we are in Maine good food and a nice little market to buy souvenirs or drinks ect if you order food call ahead sometimes their is a bit of a wait
Great public tie-up here from the lake. My friend convinced me to get a lobster roll here and it was delicious. Insider tip: get the fries for an extra $1. The ice cream next door is great as well. Great large size scoops with a variety of flavors, some of which I had never heard of before. So of course I had to try a few and they were delicious! The dock could probably be a little bigger for popular weekends but we fit right in on a Friday night.
Great location and selection! They have a great menu and very tasty pizza. My only issue are the prices excluding alcohol as they are state mandated. One box of Velveeta Shells and Cheese is $6.29! I get it as I am a small business owner but daaaammmmnnnn. I still shop there when in the area but am very selective.
