Story

First and foremost welcome to The Village Church. We’re glad you decided to visit our page! Although we’ve been around for over 5 years now, there is still a sense of excitement and adventure.
Our church exists beyond the walls of just Sunday morning. We’re glad to be investing in Thorold and surrounding communities! We have wonderful partnerships with local agencies and help out by loving our communities. We want to make a good city great.

The Village is made up of Catholics, Protestants, people who are new to faith or people who simply want to ask the “big” questions of life. Maybe if you are like most Canadians, you don’t have a high view of church… in fact when someone mentions the word, you think “boring” and “irrelevant”. At The Village Church we would like to try to change your mind. Our tagline is “A Different Way of Doing Church”. What does that mean? It means we are a church that challenges people to fall deeper in love with Jesus and the neighbourhoods we live in. In addition, we want to be a safe place where you can discover, learn, and grow in your faith.
