There are some talented barbers here to be sure John is great but there are also some horrendous ones. Do your research before showing up and don’t roll the dice. Received a hilariously bad cut today from a women who couldn’t have cared less about her job. Go to the Lynn Valley Barbershop instead, better rates and a better haircut.

Yes, my husband just got the fastest haircut ever. He called to see if there was an opening, told them he could be there in 5 to 10 minutes and they said yes. Polite welcoming, no clients in the shop but him. Once the barber started doing his haircut, a new client walked in, he also had an appointment and the barber told the new client, not to worry, it will be just a couple of minutes to look after him. My husband thought, "what! He has been cutting my hair for only 3 minutes" and after that my husband felt the barber rushed his haircut. Total time for my haircut 7 minutes maybe 8 minutes. My husband says never coming back! He paid $47 plus tip $50 for a 7 minute haircut.Service:&nbsp;Straight razor shave

Decent enough haircut. But $45 for a basic men's cut is absurd. Look elsewhere.

We managed to get in without having pre booking. The salon is crystal clean, stations separated with plexiglass and spotless in general. My son didn't have a mask and they provided him with onebring yours please. The nice lady that was cutting his hair was very accommodating with great attention to details. The hair cut we got was really good. I think I should be always using their professional service....Go local...Go to The village barber

I had a great haircut here.  My barber John used scissors and razors to achieve a professional result.  The shop was clean and all staff wore masks.  Standard Covid-19 protocols are followed, so I felt safe.  Beware though... not all customers wear masks.  I have no hesitation in highly recommending The Village Barber.

Horrible I asked for a short trim and told them that I didn’t want my back cut at all and just a light trim and the sides and ver light in the front they did horrible I have to wear a hat now until it grows back they cut alot of the front a ton of the side and my back is horrible snd uneven and it took 20 minutes and they charged 65 dollars? they don’t even have a waiting room or chairs do not go here pleaseService:&nbsp;Long haircut

Extremely Covid-19 prepared! Very impressed with the system they have implemented and the haircut I got. They did all they possibly could, above and beyond my imagination, to keep things clean and safe. Definitely the most prepared hair salon I have seen around Vancouver. I was't feeling safe about getting a haircut but my friend recommended them and they were a godsend. They follow a rigid check list that makes things a bit slow so you might want to call ahead for an appointment. I showed up without an appointment and had to go back the next day. Very thankful to have got a safe haircut! Didn't think it was possible to be honest.

I think each individual has cut my hair here in the past. I'm always happy with the cut when I leave so I leave it up to chance to keep things fair between them all. They have taken impressive steps for Covid safety building barriers between all the stations. They take reservations now, but before Covid, I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a great haircut.
