Bees Knees - Thank you Heath. Lively ambiance, great staff and customers. We shared the house-made chips and Poutine - heavenly appetizers for sure!MW enjoyed a bleu cheese burger and I had the Tofu Ban Mì. We were very satisfied with our meal.
My chicken sandwich tasted pretty good, until I got to the middle and it was cold and raw. They did make me another sandwich for free. On top of that they also didn’t ask once if anyone at the table needed a refill. Overall it wasn’t a great experience.
FOUND A HAIR IN SHIRLEY TEMPLE. Very disgusting, also the food was extremely late. My group had been waiting for a little over 2 hours. Once the food came out there was a tough time finding out whose food was whose. Many mistakes were made tonight and I’m extremely disappointed. The waitress was cold and unfriendly and was quite rude when asked for more drinks and napkins.
The Poutine with pulled pork was very good other than the temperature of the pork. It was cold and soggy. The fries and cheese curds where very good. The brown gravy was simply divine. It is a brown gravy made with stout beer. It could be served as a meal all by itself. The popsoda if you are from the east was flat and it did not taste like Dr. Pepper.
Just had the most amazing meal at the View Pub. We all ordered Salmon with tangy sweet peach salsa,. Wow! It came with creamy mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus,!! It made for a tasty combination. The desserts sounded amazing, so we ordered one of each!! We were pleased and delighted, with the meal the taste AND the super service. We will be back.
We happened upon The View Pub on our annual foliage drive. We missed our planned lunch destination near Lake Willoughby. We were not disappointed with The View Pub. The view was spectacular. Heath was our waiter; the service was friendly and informative; beer menu, specials, food pairings. We had a relaxing late lunch and a new perspective on the Lake Willoughby gap and para-sailing. Signage is insufficient; mid-level lodge; ask at front desk.
Great views, and great service. Ally was our waiters, and she went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful!
One of the most beautiful views in the area. The environment is lovely, and the staff tries their absolute hardest to make sure all of the guests are happy and well taken care of!
good drinks and reasonable prices but the staff hang out with their friends here all day so it’s hard to get served sometimes
Decent food, kind of pricey. Poutine tastes like vomit.
