Really nice tranquil setting, great ambiance. Relaxing pace, and a pleasant knowledgable server, with great conversation. A delicious assortment of sandwiches cookies scones and cakes. This was my first hi-tea, and i really enjoyed the relaxing environment and delicious flavors provided. Thank you for your service.
For the price, they is absolutely no value. The savoury sandwiches, I can make better. The sweet treats are way too sweet. The only good thing was their tea quality. Tiny place, very old school. Probably won’t be going back again.
The front of the tea room is a cute little store featuring teas for purchase and a variety of cute knick-knacks. The tearoom is decorated with wall murals and butterflies, very calm and charming. The set includes a tea choice served in a large teapot. If you wanted to, you could easily share flavours with friends. The snack is a two-tiered plate featuring finger sandwiches, cookies and a scone with jam and devon cream. More filling than you would expect! The quiet atmosphere makes it great for having a conversation. Perfect to catch up with some friends over tea and snacks.
Such a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning. We came here with my mum for her birthday. The teas are so fragrant and tasty. The scone is to die for especially because it’s warmed up. The little sandwiches and sweets are also a yummy treat. And everything is surprisingly filling! My sibling ended up getting a lot of extra food from my mum and I were just so full. All in all a very great relaxed way to spend the morning/ early afternoon. Would definitely recommend it.
Neat little place. Super intimate atmosphere. I was catching up a friend and we didnt feel rushed. Tea was excellent and so was our high tea trays. The pastries were delicious, especially the lemon bar. Will come back!
This place was so perfect. Delicious and fresh scone. Wonderful time chatting with the owner. She is a delight. So sweet. Everything was perfect. The shop had wonderful items to buy also. Tea cups paradise. We will definitely come next time with our hats. The owner even had some hats to lend for our phot shoots. Such a nice lady.
Spent a lovely afternoon at this charming Tea Room. The owner Michelle and her colleague were very attentive and we had the best time. The decor is very unique which I adored. They have a great selection of loose leaf teas and something that I have not experienced before is each individual gets their own two tier selection of scones, sandwiches and mini desserts. I would highly recommend this establishment if you are looking to try high tea for the first time or if this is something you indulge in frequently. I will definitely go back.
Absolutely wonderful!!! Would highly recommend treating yourself. Enjoyed the High Tea which was very filling I even took some of it home with me for a treat later. Loved the sandwiches and the scone, with cream and jam - it was delicious. Tasty selection of deserts and especially loved the teapot cookie. Wonderful attention to detail and a very friendly and courteous staff. Amazed at the incredible variety of teas on offer. Will definitely recommend to my friends and will be going back often!
Open the door to the Victorian Garden Tea Room and step back to a quieter, simpler time! Treated my Mom to high tea a week before Mother's Day, and it was a lovely experience. First, the large selection of teas is amazing, and the tea is served in your own beautiful individual tea pot along with a china cup! The two-tired serving tray is beautifully presented to each person. It has dainty finger sandwiches, a warm scone, a little pot of jam and whipped cream, and a delicious selection of sweets including a petit-four, shortbread, mini empire cookie and a few other small bites. We found the amount to be just enough that we were full, and we took the little sweets home as we couldn't finish them. Is it a large meal, no, but is it fresh, quality food - yes! And is it a little pricey - yes, but again the quality and freshness is worth it. This is a very unique, special experience that you treat yourself to once in a while. So go ahead and treat yourself at the Victoria Garden Tea Room . . . you won't regret it!
So great! I loved the salad and I actually bought a pack of the queens favourite tea home!
