Happenstance how we found this gem and then magic ensued. This place is amazing. Gumbo. Apps. And wine. It's a must visit. Authentic story and amazing people. Had the opportunity to meet Jerry and Lorna tonight and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will be returning !
Great wine bar with tasty food—-not your typical bar food. Great gumbo: nice flavor, delicious ingredients. Nice selection of wines and beer. Atmosphere is comfortable and quaint. Nice eclectic playlist that doesn’t intrude on visiting. And the owners… friendly, sociable and unassuming. We really like this place.
The food and service were great. They had a New Orleans inspired menu and good drink selections. The music and atmosphere was very enjoyable! Will definitely be returning to try some more of their food and wine.
This is a relaxing local place to hang out with friends, for a date night or if you’re just passing though and would like a glass of wine. They have a small but powerful wine selection with some excellent local wines. Reasonably priced as well. The owners are very kind and personable. The music is fun, yet quiet enough so you can still talk. We had the wontons, which were delicious! The charcuterie board is very tasty with a variety of unique meats, cheeses and pickled veggies. We’re looking forward to trying more of their tasty dishes. No minors allowed.

This is a jewel in downtown Kalama. They have a great wine selection and amazing food. Try the gumbo, you will not be disappointed!
Music is choice cuts! Played at a perfect level that you can still converse while enjoying the tunes. Thx Jerry! Lorna is making magic in literally a camper kitchen. The gumbo, although no seafood, the rue is so deep you don’t miss it. Charcuterie is the best $26.00 you will ever spend. With cups of gumbo maybe more than two should eat at a setting. Doesn’t stop me and my wife. Deserts so good. Be patient, the mini kitchen means a little wait. Totally worth it. Enjoy the tunes and outstanding beer and wine as you wait. Jerry and Lorna’s company can’t be beat. Thx for being here!

I am a local, and normal customer here. Lorna is the most gracious of owners. Her and Jerry have done a wonderful job opening up this lovely, little gem. Wine list, homeade food,and atmosphere are amazing.. Very proud to have them as part of our community!
