First time trying Colombian food! It was amazing! We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered - and the food was explained to us which made us feel very welcomed and helped us with choosing our food… very hospitable and the ambiance felt very authentic. We tried local drinks as well suggested by the hostess. All in all, an amazing experience! Definitely recommend. Bought some local chocolates for dessert, to go. So good! Thank you!
Only after leaving did we realize the owners let us dine in 30 minutes past their closing. They didn't rush us or anything. Sorry and thank you! That's just one example of how friendly this family run restaurant is. They explained the menu to us in detail given that it was our first time. We settled on the pork belly & fried plantain as well as the fried fish with yucca fries as substitute. Every item was DELICIOUS. Eating these items with the avocado, rice, and spicy sauce gave each bite a unique flair. Hoping to return for the other seemingly delicious items on the menu. A real gem of a restaurant that I highly recommend.
Christina is the absolutely the gem of this place. She runs the entire front end and customers while her husband Alex cooks with all his love and heart in the kitchen. This is a rare and amazing find we stumbled upon. The food is so delicious and they give you so much of it, that you can barely finish it. The restaurant is just full of so much love. The food is absolutely incredible and delicious. Will continue to keep coming back for more. If you're looking for authentic Colombian food that's made with heart and soul, you cannot miss out on this place . IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! It's Colombia not Columbia! Haha I absolutely loved the vibe in this cute little restaurant! The owner is so pleasant to talk too about her delicious menu and experiences. The food..... THE FOOOOODDDD is absolutely what your looking for when you think Colombian. Toston with a steak, divine soup for the soul and of course the salsa and empanadas!! I could eat here everyday! The portions are great! The flavors are savory! Must try!
Alex and Christina are absolutely amazing, so nice and welcoming, very helpful in walking through the menu. The place has a really nice charm, the decor and vibe is absolutely on point! The food was incredible, full of well-thought flavors, ingredients and mixes overall! I can't wait to come back for some more. Pictured is the pulled beef toston!
Transport yourself directly to Columbia by walking thorugh their doors. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious and the portions were amazing. I wish it was warmer outside so we could have enjoyed our meal in the sun to get the full effect!
This is a family run business with warmest service and yummy food. It almost felt as if I was invited into their home and served these amazing dishes. Their toston was a deep fried plantain with different toppings, they have vegetarian options too! I can’t wait to try their arepas next time! Try this place out!
The food was amazing!!! The owners were very kind as well and took the time to explain the menu to us. We ordered the pork belly meal which came with salad and we also ordered a side of fried plantains. We will definitely be back soon to try the rest of their menu.
Took my friend here for a bday lunch. It's a cute small restaurant with 4 tables of 4. The decor makes you feel like you are in Columbia. Met the owners and they are very friendly. We ate the Toston pulled pork and beef we shared. Love the flatten plantain under and the meat, especially the fact that it's gluten free! You eat it like a taco.
Loved this place. I was craving a sancocho soup and it was better that I expected. I ordered the Sancocho de Res beef and I enjoyed it a lot. Cristina is a great host. I highly recommend this place if you want to try authentic Colombian cuisine. Delicious!
