Worst bar I’ve ever been too. I was shoved to the ground for using a bouncers lighter. I called the police and they lied and said I stole their bouncer’s cigarettes and lighter. Completely false and will never return. Alex was the bouncer and was completely unprofessional and excessive.
Tin Can Bar opened recently. Its nice place. It's got a lot of frat bar scene with games and plastic cups. College kids would probobly enjoy this place. They dont have any drafts but only beers in cans. They have a lot of shots on menu. To be precise about 50. They also have card that tells you how many shots you have tried and if you finish it all, you get your photo on the wall. The staff is friendly especially Jake. The manager was also nice. This place can get busy on weekends. There isn't a lot of seating so, this place is more like a pitstop from downtown to Shakespeare/bells/old dog. You might not want to spend all night here.
Fun place. Not super packed like the Library. Frozen pudding shots are good.
Tin Can is the best interactive bar in Kalamazoo! Especially with a group of friends, enjoy playing beer pong, Jenga, and other activities this bar has to offer. The drinks are cheap, shots are super cheap, and the age group varies depending on the time of night! I miss Tyson he was my favorite bouncer, but all the employees are great people and the owner even stops in to hangout and interact with his regular customers.
Tyson and Katia made my experience amazing! I was out at the bar and met these two and they convinced me to come down. When I came they were very welcoming, friendly, and fun! I will definitely be choosing The Tin Can over our other local bars. This is my new spot! Also, Dakota makes the best pudding shots in town!

Used to love Tyson every time we went he was so nice and it was a great time. We went there for my friends birthday and he had a whole break down, screamed at us saying we had fake IDs when all of us had real IDs we were there for our friends 22nd birthday. He walked off with her ID and we couldn’t even leave because he left the building with it. The other employees had to chase him down to get it back, he came back and continued to scream at us. We were so scared that we almost called the cops. It was manic behavior, imagine if he did that with a drunk man, there would be a physical fight, very dangerous he is lucky it was 3 small girls. We want to come again because we have always loved tin can but there is no way we can feel comfortable coming if he is working, very sad we used to love tin can and we used to love Tyson.
Tyson was the best part of our experience here at tin can. We were welcomed for our friend’s 21st. The staff was welcoming, helpful and very fun to chat up. Highly recommend if you’re in the kazoo area.
Tyson was very welcoming to the group, we were waiting in line and he was nothing but kind and accommodating to our needs. needless to say, he made our first tin can experience a great one. 10/10 would come back
We love our Tin Can! Big shoutout to Tyson!! Best service! The vibe is lit.
