GOOD SERVICE, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE [Please read before choosing your service] I hope everyone have a chance to read all the reviews before settling with this business. January 13, 2022, I came in to fix my Macbook Pro laptop screen. At first, this service provided great assistance, they were great. Even though, they said it will be ready in 2 hours, but later called and said the screen they had wasn't good quality, so it will take another day, and I was perfectly fine with this. On the 14th, they called me to come and pick it up, and guaranteed that they have tested everything and that the screen is great. Once I came home, first thing I did was video record me turning on the laptop, just in case anything weird happen, and to my surprised, it did, you can take a look at the photo as proof. Afterward, I contacted and they were happy to help me fix this and apologize for it, everything was perfectly fine. Until they contacted me again next week, saying "we've replaced the screen but noticed that the colour did not match the Macbook, if you want, you can just take it, because it's not that noticeable or we can change it again for you." Of course, why would you settle for a different colour screen? I also said "I don't mind the time, you guys can take your time to do it, I'm not in a rush, as long as if the laptop came out good." and they said, "of course." After almost a week of not hearing any further updates, I gave them a call on Sunday, January 22, and BEFORE I could say anything, the man on the phone already started listing out all the stuff that was on my profile "bad screen quality, redo, another redo, mix match redo, etc." So, there's about at least 3-4 redos based on his words, so I asked "I just want to ask, why is there so many messed up?" [Please remember, he was the one he told me and reminded me of the redos before I even said anything about it] and the guy started yelling at me over the phone, he continued to cut me off, I tried to stepped in when stopped talking and said "Please sir, I hope you can let me finish my sentence, if I offended you, then I apologized." Then he continued to scream at me and said "No, I will not let you talk. Go talk to the manager, and if you don't want your laptop fix here, go to apple." Then he hung up on me. The day that I came to pick up my laptop, I brought up the situation in a respectful manner, I even asked if he knows the guy that was on the phone on Sunday, but it seems like they weren't too surprised to hear about it or the guy just tried to avoid my words, but they did not apologize for what happen. At the end, the service given was great, they will fix your laptop until you're satisfied, but the customer service is very bad, they don't treat you as customer, or maybe it's just that one guy over the phone, and then challenge you as if he knows the manager won't do anything.
They couldn't fix my Nintendo Switch Lite. It would of easier if they could of soiled and replaced the battery connector that I broke but instead, they wanted me to pay 300.00 dollars for a new logic board that took over 6 months. To future customers please keep calling them on the estimated dates of repairs. Wow, I finally looked inside my Switch Lite the plate is missing and there "Technician" soldered the battery to the the connector the surprisingly they never told me soldering battery and I want my heat sink plate back.
Brought my phone in for screen repairs. Was told $150 on the phone and the owner also told me $150 when I arrived and gave me a receipt for pickup. When I came to pick my phone up a new manager brought me aside and charged me almost $300 for the repair. I explained this was not the price agreed upon for the service and he explained that the owner was, "just an old man" and "made a mistake" I paid and the manager asked for the $150 invoice receipt to which I said I would prefer to keep, he then demanded for the receipt back or he wouldn't give me the phone back at all. I ended up giving it back and leaving. When I was leaving I turned my phone on and the screen was terrible quality and had a big black border along the edge. I went back and confronted the manager about the repair quality and about the price change misrepresentation is fraud. I asked them to refund the $300 and put my old screen back on. They did, at this point the owner began to yell at me for questioning his integrity, that I should bring him to court, and that he never wanted to see my face in his store ever again. Keep in mind I never raised my voice at him, and I wasn't even talking to him at this point. Totally shocked by the behaviour of Ash the owner, managers are much nicer, and will give you your money back.
My laptop was water damaged. Diagnostic fee was $95 then they asked me to pay another $150 for next step. I didn't go for next step on that time but decided to fix it and brought my laptop to them again. However, They couldn't find my record and asked me to pay $95 diagnostic fee again. The old guy in the shop was extremely angry when i told him i would not pay $95 again I went to the other shop in dundas and they fixed in a day with total $85 without diagnostic fee. People in here are scammer, bad experience ever. FYI- I read other reviews about this place, seems like old man in here does scamming all the time, like make people pay double/triple then shouting/threatening, cannot believe they are still running a business, please be careful.
Bit of a strange setup, with Micah working out of his home. However, service was fast, and good, my daughter's phone was repaired VERY quickly, and at a reasonable cost. Need a phone fixed? Call TechKnow space.
The service was appallingly bad. I witnessed the owner arguing with someone who was picking up his laptop because of the price. They will gouge you on the pricing of the repairs depending on how much you need the item repaired for personal reasons. They charge $40 to inspect the item if you do not wish to proceed with the repairs. They did not put my watch back together properly and damaged it when I did not want to proceed with repairs through their service. Do not recommend to anyone! Responding to your reply: Give me a refund then of your stupid $40 inspection fee which is a straight scam. Considering you’ll just damage the items if the person doesn’t want to go with you guys. My smartwatch had missing parts and completely fell apart as soon as I took it home.
I called to ask about a headphone repair for my Solo Pro. I had questions about specific headphone parts. The person who answered the phone was very rude and when I told him this, he said he was sorry and that my questions were dumb. Great way to get customers into your store. Good reflection of the type of customer service provided.
I use to work here and I just love coming here to read the reviews as a past time. Im glad ash has finally left someone else in charge I hope you guys do well! P.S PEOPLE SEEING BAD REVIEWS!!! TAKE THEM LIGHTLY!!!! AS THE MAIN PROBLEM WAS THE OLD MANAGMENT. THE TECHNICIANS HERE ARE VERYYYYY GOOD PLEASE DONT LET MISTAKES OF THE PAST DETERMINE THEIR FUTURE!
THEY do NOT know how to fix BEATS! I left two sets of Beats headphones for repair and I paid 80 $ for diagnostic the old man working on the deck called few days later to told me that he will order parts and they will fix both sets and the parts are speakers and are 50 $ for each ,'' I told him ok sure you can do the repairs!'' His respond was :    The following week it will be ready and THEY WILL CALL ME BACK  to pick up my headphones. Well one month passed nobody called me . I called back and the old man picked up the phone,  AND TOLD ME " YOUR HEADPHONES ARE READY IF YOU WANT PICK THEM UP IF YOU DONT WANT DONT CAME ! I asked him :" Why nobody called back ? " and HE starting arguing and blaming me that "Maybe I didn't pick my phone or Maybe I don't have Voice mail VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I WENT TO PICK UP MY HEADPHONES on the some day AND THEY TOLD ME " ONE IS READY THE SECOND PAIR WE CAN'T FIX ITS NOT WORTH !! THEY FIX ONLY ONE SET OF BEATS white one and it cost me 130$, THE CABELS ARE OUT AND IT WILL BREAK !
Please don’t bother Website has incorrect information there is no chip level repair or any service of those sort. Pay for diagnosis which I informed before giving the laptop what’s wrong and how to repair it funniest thing in the world buy a part twice the cost of the laptop. I was requesting for a chip to be changed what I got was yes yes let’s buy a new laptop. Do not waste your time you can do better with a screwdriver in the comfort of your home.
