This place is amazing!!!!! Naomi is my sister that is part of it:-) and just had some pumpkin pie last night it awesome !!!! And as far as Clete ( the owner ) he has baking figured out,, and you can trust the consitantcy in all of his products becouse he is carefull and very good with detail ... your pie you buy today will have the exact taste as the one you buy tomorrow . My wife and I are new to the area and we love to go for drives through the country side. We stumbled upon the Taste of Tradition Bakery and what a delight it is. As soon as we walked in, we were overwhelmed with the amazing scent of freshly baked pies. The young ladies behind the counter were very polite, smiling and took the time to answer our inquisitiveness . (we moved from L.A. where that would never happen). We have since been back every week, trying the pies (strawberry rhubarb is amazing) breads, cookies and those AMAZING cinnamon rolls. We are hooked and tell everyone we can about this hidden gem.

I just love this bakery! I live in Chicago but grew up in Fort Wayne/New Haven so when in town I always try to visit The Taste Of Tradition bakery. I was introduced to this place by my trusted friend Eleanore. They have fabulous pies, cookies, breads, etc. I recently tried their cinnamon rolls and they were ,"to die for"! Their fruit pies are full of fruit and cookies are big and tasty. And their prices a reasonable for what you get. The lady that runs the place (her name escapes me) is really a kind and a sweet person. The grounds and building are very well kept and clean as is the case and shelves...which is very important to me. So if you find yourself in New Haven, Indiana you should definitely look up this place...you won't be sorry!
