I've visited here a few times but usually for drinks and the staff have always been as expected, friendly helpful and attentive. Service is 5 stars! Unfortunately came for the full Irish Breakfast and it was not great. It looks great, and you will get an actual fry up everything deep fat fried including toast and very salty. Eggs were overcooked, chewy and salty. Bacon and sausages were great and beans and tomato were nice but sadly overpowered by the salty eggs and mushrooms. Plus side nice to get a proper pot of tea brew with milk.
We sat outside on a warm Oct day, for a round of 4 drinks after our day of site seeing. 2 cider, 1 beer, 1 vodka & coke £18 was a fair price, co sidering location & view! Young Irish lad waiting on the tables was prompt & friendly taking & delivering our order.
I had never been in an Irish Pub, nor in Prague. The pub is beautiful, well organised, and well stocked. his point strong, however, in my opinion was the staff. i know it may sound strange as a strong point of a place but the girl who served me was the only person who gave me a smile so far in prague, they are all so serious. it was nice to enjoy a great beer and feel some hospitality
A solid irish pub. When we visited there was a group of at least ten bachelor partiers who were extremely loud to the level where you could barely hear your own thoughts so keep that in mind when visiting
It's an 'Irish' pub not in Ireland and is typical of the kind you see in any city that calls itself an 'Irish' pub. They're are fine for tourists, but the ones in Prague are awful for a true Prague/Czech experience. Extremely expensive for Prague, but then it is in a tourist area. I'd avoid it.Service: 4/5
Such a brilliant bar to visit. Pure Irish feel and atmosphere. Regardless of how busy it was, I felt taken notice of and the bar staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a good night. Had a right laugh here and would definitely visit again. Great live music, friendly people and laughs all round.Service: 5/5
A nice traditional Irish pub at the heart of Prague. We didn't try any food, but they serve very nice mulled wine. The two girls serving were also very nice and accommodating. We went in to watch a football match and weren't disappointed as the pub has numerous TVs that they show sports on. Dietary restrictions: My girlfriend is celiac and unfortunately this pub has no gluten-free options. If you're looking for gluten-free food to accompany a few drinks, you may consider other options.
Proper pub hidden in a corner of Old Town Square. It's a fantastic pub, staff so friendly and have a great sense of humour. We sat outside as the weather was so lovely. The bar area and toilets were nice. Staff kept the drinks flowing and qould have a chat. Live music was good too. Definitely worth a visit!
I would not recommend this place. The location is great and it could justify the price...if the drinks weren't a scam. We paid two cocktails but it felt like they were virgin since you felt no alcohol at all. Maybe we should have gone for beers. The inside smells terrible, like the floor's soaked up with old beer and sweat. And the toilets can't be locked unfortunately... I think you can find better places to have a drink
Popped in for a drink later in the evening . Staff were very attentive ,clearing tables as soon as people left and asking if we wanted another drink when removing our empty glasses. Good atmosphere , champions league football was on five telly screens around the bar , We didn't eat on our visit but portion sizes looked good on meals that were served at tables around us. Would definitely recommend this bar , whether for a quick drink , a meal or both .
