This is only a review of the tavern restaurant. It is clean, modern and stylish. Having said that the menu is mostly bar type food but it is very well prepared and tasty. We were there in the late afternoon to grab an early dinner so it was very quiet. We enjoyed the ambiance and the food. I recommend.
My son and I stayed 2 nights for his birthday in May and had the best time! Will absolutely be going back. We had a room on the first floor and it was beautifully redone! Brand new mattress' and pillows, very comfortable! The washroom is a tad small but manageable.nThe restaurant attached is delicious! Cool atmosphere. My son loved the full rack of ribs!nDrinks were delicious!nThe pool was the perfect temperature and the hot tub was perfect as well!nWould be cool if the pool was open later than 9pm but still had a blast with the kids!
This is my second multiple day stays. Robin was fabulous to deal with. Had an issue with the TV and she worked so hard to accommodate me. I love staying here. The restaurant is wonderful. I eat all my meals here when I stay at the hotel. It is worth the drive from Winnipeg to eat here. Prices are very reasonable, service is great, food is great and portions are huge. The best eggs Benedict I have ever had
I feel the images of the rooms of this hotel are misleading as the hotel definitely is NOT all updated. I wish I had remembered to take a picture.nnOur room on the second floor had 30+ year old stained carpet and the vintage bedspread as displayed in images if you go back 3 years.nnThe temperature control was a window unit and it was either fully on or fully off. It didn’t turn off if it reached the set temperature. When we went for supper and came back a couple hours later our room was like a sauna, then when we turned it off for the night it was freezing in the middle of the night February. There were no extra blankets and not even a comforter, just a sheet and a thin cover. Also the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.nnThe room also seemed to have some sort of dust/mold issue as the entire time my husband and I were in there we had sinus issues… but not when we left.nnThe girl at front desk never even asked how our stay was when we checked out.nnThe only saving grace of this hotel was that the restaurant was good.
Great food at the tavern. I love the fish tacos and get it almost everytime I stop by. I have had breakfast and wings here as well, they did not disappoint! I can confidently say Breezy oaks tavern is one of our best restaurants/bars in beausejour!
