The shariah allows anyone to join a jam-at late and here is the management of the mosque who lock their doors when the prayers starts. And then they threat you that this is a private property and the decision of the management is final. The decision can be respected if it is reasonable. The world has moved on from Covid and they still insist on masks which is terrible. Pathetic experience with management and how this facility is run.
Very nice masjid. With plenty of space for praying and parking. Segregated place for men and women for prayers, a big common hall for events and iftars. Very good Friday lecture. Only drawback is they don't regularly update their website with events and other notices. The best mosque in Scarborough!
THE MASJID IS ONLY OPEN DURING THE SALAT TIME AND AFTER THAT ITS AUTOMATICALLY LOCKED. IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING OR NOT A REGULAR MUSALLI DONT BOTHER STOPPING HERE. MASJID IS NOT FULFILLING ITS PURPOSE AT ALL.
The management is terrible and doesn't even open the mosque 10 min before the Jamat. The government lifted the covid restriction but these people still keeping it on. They don't let people make wudu. They literally doesn't care about the community. Went there for Juma with my family and they were not allowing little children in the mosque which is very disrespectful. Seems like a business than a community place for prayer. Missed a lot of prayer because of these people. I am sure they will be held accountable for it in the day of judgment.
Worst experience. Its a mosque not a business place. The management is rude, they even lick the doors during prayer time. Locked doors??? Why?? This is a mosque. People should be allowed to pray here!!!
Just waste of time to go there. No time punctuality but restrictions alot in Jummah prayer.
Amazing mosque / Parking Extremely incompetent management. Do not follow their own rules. Posted sign says door is locked 5 mins before fard prayers . Heard majority of kutbah from outside and was locked way earlier than 15 minutes before jumma started. Plenty of space inside. As others have mentioned they fail to listen to their patrons and will tell you to go elsewhere. Power trip as none of the brothers here in charge have any significant professional roles of senior management and it shows in the running of this mosque. I agree with wearing masks and bringing your own Janamaz but how these brother justify locking out hard working middle class Muslims from praying on their lunch break is beyond me. I pray they are ready to answer for their akhira as there is not one visit to this mosque where I do not hear multiple persons cursing them for their poor behaviour and not following their own policy. THEY ARE PERSONALLY REAPONSIBLE FOR 1000’s of brothers missing their fard namaz for which inshallah they are held accountable. The imam at this mosque is old and incoherent and repeats the same thing every kutbah. It is sad as majority of the youngsters have abandoned this mosque and it is only old people who come here now. The imam I’m sure is an amazing person but it is time for him to move on as he is not making a positive impact as people are not listening during the sermon . Please do not take my comments negatively, I only wish for improvement to benefit all . All knows best.
Spacious. Good parking space. Locked right after isha before fajr and in between after prayers. Masks and prayer mats mandatory. There are two slots for friday jummah, 12:25 and 1:15 so there's always room for late comers. Having said that management is poor, they're not very knowledgeable nor concerned about the teachings of the sharia and how to manage a good community. They're more afraid of covid than they are of the hereafter. Discourages people from coming to the mosque. Doesn't open doors to late comers. Doesn't discuss concerns openly with public and decides what's right by themselves. Asks people to go to another mosque if we find any issues with their management. Has taken no initiative for iftaar in ramadan. No initiative for ittikaf either. All in all not a lot of sunnah there in my opinion despite their name stating as such.
AselamuAlykum werahametullah I just came from other city. to pry juma selah they refuse to let in coz I dont have prying matt it's not fair to do that even I explained Zero results may Allah forgive us amen inshalAllah
I know it’s ok that if you do have a prayer mat, you’re not supposed to pray inside the masque. But today, literally they had sent us back from right in front of the entrance. Where whole Toronto is now getting normal, why are you guys becoming that rude to the Musulli?
