Horrible experience. My son went and the councillor has me in for every visit. Was not sure to be family counseling. She talked to me more about her life, clients and her cat. I know about her private life than she knew of my son. Then to top it off they billed my insurance incorrectly and now I have A HUGE bill for basically counseling the counselor. My new sons councillors amazing and they bill correct. I would highly recommend not going to summit

How do you charge mentally handicapped people 50.00 for missing an appointment, their medicine may have been not working, could have gotten stressed and gotten confused, not on the second or third time but the first time, I think it's robbery, it is a place for people with mental disabilities!

I have had three experiences with the Summit Center. the first was for myself and the doctor I had barely spoke to me, just threw different medications at me when something wasn't working. The second was for my daughter to see a therapist. At the first appointment the woman was very judgmental and critical of my daughter, making her feel even worse than she did before the appointment. The third was just today when I attempted to make an appointment for my son and the receptionists refused because he is 18...they stated that HIPPA law prevents me from making an appointment for him which I have verified is completely untrue. I am his insurance holder and handle all of his medical care and, as long as no private information is exchanged, I can make an appointment for him even before a release is signed. The receptionist refused to provide anything in writing stating that I was not authorized to make an appointment and continued speaking over me when I was trying to explain the situation. I have given this facility multiple chances due to the convenience of their location and the limited options available through my insurance but this is the third strike; I will NOT be returning and have already contacted my medical group with an official complaint. It should not be so difficult to find compassionate care for mental health.

Dr. Rahman is great. After many years going to doctors "BiPolar 2" who only pushed more and more medications. Dr Rahman, found a combination of medications that did not have me feeling over medicated as I was in the past. She is also one that stresses the importance of talk therapy. Myself and wife are seeing Sandra and she has truly helped us learn to live again as a couple since being diagnosed 13 years ago.

I was diagnosed by Dr. Rahman that I have bipolar disorder. I had seen her a few times then stopped going because showed up to an appointment 10 minutes late and doctor did not see me and gave me a no show fee, when we called to say I was going to be late and the people in the office had said that's fine and when I got there they said the doctor left after telling me I can show up late still. So I never went there again until recently my bipolar symptoms got out of hand and I had called her office to make an appointment. I was told I would have to take care of my balance and then they could take my appointment. So I gave them my credit card info and they said they would be in touch but had dodged me and kept telling me the assistant was sick everytime I would follow up. After I got off the phone today they said they cannot see me because my account was in collections. Well I just took care of that the other day but now they are saying even after payment they cannot see me as it's an office policy. They had lied to me, a bipolar patient reaching out for help, just to take my money and LIE to my face. I DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone go there, they obviously care about money more than helping someone in need even after they have taken care of the whole past due balance and being promised an appointment. All I'm trying to do is get on the right meds, as just being bipolar is hard enough! This is just plain and simple terrible business ethics.
