It was our first time at the dog park. All the dogs and people we met were very friendly. We love the trees and small walking paths included inside the gated dog parks. We brought our puppy to visit the small dog area first, and then to the large dog area. Every dog and owner was welcoming and respectful. We will definitely come back!
I enjoyed my visit with my pup but it was a very cold day when I went. I loved how much space there was for the dogs and the pathway as well. I can't say too much about the other dog owners that I've came across so far because I met a few and they didn't really want my pup playing around there dogs. So for now Im hoping that was just a off day but I met a very friendly pitbull there. Looking forward to coming back for another visit!
Love the little park around the dog areas as well as dog areas. Small dog <20lbs is grass area while the large dogs is woodchips. Both are great and are an idea place to socialize a dog as well giving them an outlet for energy they have pent up. Dog-friendliness: Dog parks that are separate for big dogs and small dogs
There are two separate dog parks, one for smaller dogs which is especially good if your small pup is scared of bigger dogs. It was cleaned unlike some other dog parks. You can also walk outside the park and enjoy nature.
Great open area with a few trees along the side. Double gate system for safe entry and with small covered cement pad. A couple picnic tables towards the center area with water bowls. Have been here many times and have not seen any aggression issues.
Very pretty area with the path and pond. Large fenced-in off-leash area and one smaller area. Bring your own water. Liked the wood chips, seemed like it would keep the area dry. Much nicer than grassy parks that get muddy often. Also a few trees in the fenced-in area for the dogs to sniff around.
I like how there’s a small dog secretion and a large dog section. However, I wish the small dog section was a bit bigger. Both parts are always clean and well taken care of. However, sometimes the owners don’t keep a close watch on their dogs while interacting with others. Overall, a great dog park!
Dog park that is separated into any dog and small dog park. The larger dog park has mulch for ease of poo pick up. Can get busy during morning and evening times but it's really unpredictable. Mostly friendly dog owners with well behaved dogs. Do have the occasional fights and arguments but no real issues.
Took my boy Rex to this dog park for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back a few times since then. The dog park is great and so far the people and dogs we have met have been friendly and welcoming. There is a walking trail around a man made pond and 2 separate off leash areas, one for large breeds and on for small ones. We go to the large breed one. The only criticism I have is that there is no water source for the dogs to fill up a bowl or anything like that so you should bring some water for your pooch if it's a hot day or plan on staying there long. Rex loves it and is pooped for the rest of the day after every visit. Great place to take your dog if you are in the Stouffville area.
The off leash dog park is very big. It's nice that there are some tables and chairs. But it's rather remote with not much else around and limited parking which is frustrating when the space is not even in walking distance for a dog owner...
