I love this place. Good crowd and great staff. And I relish they have kept as much of the original 1885 structure as is possible.
My favorite bar in the twin cities. If you grew up in a small town, check out this great place. It has the feel of a small town bar in the big city. Great bartenders and great patrons.

Fast service, a St Paul tradition since the '80's. 1880's. If you're looking for food, go somewhere else. If you're looking for a friendly bartender, or a place to sit and chat while drinking the least expensive and quite possibly the best pulled pint of Guinness in the Twin Cities, this neighborhood bar is the place to sit down.
Always a nice place to chill or to converse with the locals. I found a book, on the bookshelf, and sat happily reading, with a pizza and some beer, unmolested and comfortable. I love this little bar, wish I lived closer to it.
