The motel and the overall experience was wonderful! Extremely clean, cozy, and the owners were incredibly kind during the check in/check out process. Very affordable with many features and amenities included. While booking, we were just looking for something very simple as it was essentially just a place for us to sleep and shower while exploring the area but it ended up exceeding our expectations. Great central location between many nice towns and hiking spots. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay in the area.

Exactly as advertised. Simple, basic very clean motel with good breakfast. A group of 6 women booked 3 rooms for 1 night as we were hiking the Bruce Trail in the area. The 2 queen beds in each room were comfortable and clean. The shower had good water pressure. The towels in great condition and fluffy. We will return when we’re back to continue hiking in the area.
I cannot believe the 5/5 reviews here. The owner is friendly ... that's why I give 2 star. I stayed there for 3 nights last year. It's a $60/night motel in Toronto but I paid $180/night. Not much furniture in the room. Carpet is dirty. Washroom looks like ... don't know how to describe. The room itself looks old ... really old. The whole motel needs to be torn down and rebuilt.
My husband and I spent two nights here last weekend and we were amazed at the hospitality of the owners and staff. They went out of their way to accommodate us and see to our needs. They even provided us with ice cubes from their own fridge. Kudos to a business that takes hospitality to the next level.
Very clean and super host! The owners are very amiable and made us feel welcomed. They waited for an extra hour as we got delayed in our trip. Highly recommend to visit this place for a stay.
This is a good motel about 20 from Sauble beach. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very dated but kept clean and comfortable. The back yard is a beautiful spot to relax. There is a great fite pit for your full camping experience.Rooms: 3/5
Nice motel on the edge of town. My room was very clean including the bedding and towels. There are a couple of fire pits at the rear for guests to use and we spent our evening around the fire. There are also barbeques available for use. The owners are lovely people and very accommodating. My only regret is not eating at the cafe - it gets great reviews! This will be where I stay whenever I need a place in Wiarton.
The room was clean and comfortable. The bedding was soft and clean smelling. Microwave and small fridge in room. Beautiful setting outside with rear patio doors with fire pits, chairs and picnic tables available. Large barbecues also on site to use. Continental breakfast provided with variety of cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast and bagels. Coffee and tea. I would recommend this spot.
We spend two nights at this motel. If you all are looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay in the area. This is the place to go. We also had bonfire at night it was beautiful to spend time under the sky! Additionally drive to tobermary was approx. 45 minutes. & drive to Sauble beach 20 minutes approx. The motel owners are warm & welcoming!
