Stopped by this amazing coffee spot in the neighbourhood! Have had takeouts multiple times for coffee but this was first time with sitting down at the location, love their set up, good seating space, most of the dessert on their menu macarons were over by 5pm when i visited over the weekend! That was a bit of a let down! Tried their hazelnut latte and peach danish and both were amazing! The staff is friendly and quick service. Worth visiting and hopefully can try their macarons next time
Had a chance to stop in for a quick coffee and snack. Wow, the selection and quality of the macarons is incredible! Very fresh with wonderful flavour combinations. Super-decadent, double layer macarons - not too sweet with delicious flavour. Also had an iced coffee which was perfect. A beautiful environment with friendly service. Will definitely be visiting again soon!
These are the most delicious macarons I've had in Toronto. The perfect balance of flavours and sweetness, not to mention how pretty they look! I've ordered both signature and seasonal flavours, and they never disappoint.
Social blend has become my must have for birthdays and anniversaries or just because. The Korean macaroons with subtle flavors that are not too overpowering sweet as compared to most desserts. These goodies are very delicate and beautifully assembled to satisfy the tummy and visualization. I highly recommend these small macaroons that bring the biggest joy to anyone's day. So happy they are now more accessible and closer to me as they are carried in multiple bubble tea and dessert shops. :
I ordered the signature 9 flavourful macaron box along with the cold brew coffee concentrate. These korean macaron are soft and not overly sweet like the French kind, and each one taste like thier flavour profile to the exact. These are definitely quite unique from the traditional macaron. The buttercream filling was heavenly smooth and luxurious! My favorite were the matcha green tea, early grey and the raspberry! I am a coffee lover so I am very picky with my cup of beans. The cold brew coffee is bold and nutty in flavor with a tad of sweetness no sugar added. Can't wait for the pandemic to be over to visit the shop and try out the dine in experience! I also got another signature 9 box for my best friend's daughter birthday and they loved it, better than just a cake as you get to taste so many flavors.
I recently picked up an Iced Cappuccino from this place while on my way to the Cineplex as my bus dropped me right in front of The Social Blend and was pleasantly surprised with how amazing the coffee was. Perfectly well bodied, strong and tasted amazing. Definitely would visit again ! September 2022 Update : Absolutely love their Iced Caramel Latte and Butter croissant !!
Ordered their Chinese New Year macarons and was not disappointed! Delivered to my door with no fuss and was kept updated all day. They were so cute and really tasty too. Can't wait to visit in person!
My favourite macaroons by far! Any time I need a beautiful tasty gift, this will be my top choice : I particularly love the coffee and chocolate flavours. The matcha dacquoise is also amazing. - IN SHORT: unique + quality DEETS: 1 they aren’t super sweet, which helps the flavours stick out 2 the filling is the BEST texture smooth but moderately dense - a must try 3 good value given their massive size compared to French style macaroons 4 paper boxes no plastic, and the style/graphics are simple yet intentional
I walked in and was able to order a box of 9 macarons within minutes! The macarons were very fresh and delicious even with it being after 5pm. This box was shared, but everyone agreed that all flavours were amazing! I really enjoyed the Earl Grey especially. They have a wide variety of lattes as well, definitely going back! The staff was polite, and the shop was very cute.
I have been ordering from The Social Blend for delivery throughout this pandemic, their Korean style macarons are delicious and they are especially great for gifting. On my recent order to a friend for her birthday however, it was a little disappointing. I ordered a macaron bunch that is supposed to arrange like a birthday cake but it arrived with macarons falling apart as shown in pictures. The photos were taken when my friend opened the box upon arrival she made sure she held it with care, opening it carefully and not shake the box. I suspect it fell apart on the road during delivery, which I would like the store to be made aware of and handle with care during delivery going forward so it will not happen to other customers. I have also emailed the store with my feedback but it has been a week and I have not heard back from them. Anyhow, the macarons are a nice treat on any occasions. **email resent as requested**
