We stopped there because we had a gift card from our motel! We were surprisingly impressed but this place!! You guys have to try the brisket. It was insanely good. We were also super happy to see traditional corn tortilla instead of flour. 100% recommended
We tried the trio of brisket tacos $12 and the chicken tacos $12. They were delicious! They're served in takeout containers. They have a few tables inside and a handfull of tables out front and in the back. You can also take your meal to the pier alongside the restaurant pwhere there are plenty of tables and chairs with water views. Staff were friendly and courteous! Definitely recommended! Hey if you are tired of seafood give this place a try. They have the best Mac & cheese I have ever eaten out. Add their side of corn bread & jerk chicken. Just call it a day. Really wanted to give this place a 5 star rating. Unfortunately their brisket was little too fatty for me. We did love their local ciders they offered and their super cute outdoor dining area.
Great place to visit for some delicious bbq food in Lunenburg! Very friendly staff, clean environment and simple menu. My favourites included the pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich while my boyfriend loved the pulled pork mac and cheese his pick every time!. Can't wait to come back!
Nice looking establishment but they really need to up the food game. Ordered a half rack of ribs each for 3 and did not finish! Pale appearance and slathered with some orange hot sauce. Extremely tough. Nearly a week later this experience still irks us enough to bother writing a review. Remember punters, this is seafood town!
All the meat you could want in a town that caters to mostly seafood. Fresh, tasty brisket and pulled pork sandwich. The staff is super friendly and quick. My first time here will not be my last.
The brisket here was simply superb. Opted to have the straight brisket with the sauce on the side instead of the sandwhich. Happy I did as the great smokey taste was front and center. The brisket was super tender and as you can see the colouring was exactly as a great brisket should have. Our hostess Jewelz was fun and helpful helping all six of us.
Amazing food, fantastic service - probably the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. The seasoning was perfect, fresh toasted bun, cheese and the slaw is fantastic. The atmosphere is also fantastic, the music is chill - one of my favorite places to eat in Lunenburg.
I had a spicy, juicy and dripping pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious, hours later I still remember the meal. An amazing spot. When in Lunenburg don’t miss this dining option.
Atmosphere nice Staff great they are the one star! Also ... Playing Bob Marley doesn’t make the place Caribbean, flavour does and there was no flavour to be found here!!! Jerk chicken... not jerk chicken It needs heat and flavour...and it’s needs to be more then a bite of chicken on a bun or in the taco, for 13$ a piece there should be more volume. I understand food costs are have gone up, then add a better side or more toppings with flavour. I know this place has great reviews and it’s good but it’s not jerk chicken. I didn’t even taste the heat...the chicken was soupy and felt like it had come from a pot of water. I feel like most locals will love it ... but it’s not real jerk chicken. Just saying. When you are craving Caribbean this place just doesn’t hit the Caribbean spot ...first time going sadly wouldn’t recommend it based on the lack of flavour and heat in the jerk and the portions/presentation . It may be a different option from seafood, but seriously it’s not Caribbean .... just saying, maybe take a trip to the Caribbean and learn from some chefs there, jerk has a profile to it as does Caribbean.
