This mall is quite shabby. Nothing interesting about it honestly. I have to give credit to it being very clean and organized. I believe having shoppers and food basics within it makes it a destination for some people. The stores in there might serve a purpose for some people as there are a few unique small shops. It is quite gloomy as well. Definitely can be a good ground for redevelopment in the future.
This mall deserves a new life... Such a dated mall. The food basic is stuck in the 80s just like the mall itself. The only thing they have going here is Congee Queen. Such a nice piece of land with great roads leading to it , but doesn't have anything going on for them inside the mall
Not the best. It feels like a ghost town. There’s a lot of potential but the space is not utilized nor maintained.
Mall is fairly quiet except for the Food Basics area and most stores were closed even on a weekend during the daytime. Not much to see or shop in there unless you're a senior just bored and wanted some indoor space to walk around in. It would be nice if management tried to upgrade the mall by getting more popular companies inside the mall, especially since there's so much potential due to the convenient location of the mall just right off the highway and close to a popular main intersection.
If I would only give this mall no stars but this is the worst mall ever, why don't the owners update this place, you have a large empty department store that sits there idle the stores in the mall are useless nobody shops in them.Food Basics is the only one making any money, outside sits a empty restaurant and a parking lot that is just being used for people who leave there cars there so they don't have to pay for parking and use the TTC and go to Tim Hortons. Do something that will bring people there!!!
Ergh - I usually have a weak spot for small community malls but this one is just so hard for me to love. The mall is clean and pleasant enough, but the merchants inside, other than TD and a Food Basics, there's nothing that is gonna attract people to come. I mean unless you really love Wimpy's. There's not even a proper food court here either. A few knick-knack independent stores that are undoubtedly run by nice folks, but nothing to write home about. There used to be a Sears Outlet many moons ago, but that's long gone now.
The indoor plaza here has stood the test of time. The Food Basics grocery store at the eastern end has been there for decades with only minor cosmetic updates. On the other end, though, the space used to be filled by Sears until it closed in the early 2010s and has remained bare with only a few tenants occupying the space for short durations. In between, there are indoor shops on the first floor and professional offices on the second. May be a good destination for locals but hope to see change coming soon!
Good plaza, Went to Timhortons. Mixed community here, Persians, Asians, South Asians. Nice Experience.
Peaceful mall with a mix of brand name chains and family businesses. Tables spread out for small gatherings, lounge area with television and lots of room to walk around freely. Located at Don Mills & Steeles avenue. Minutes away from Hwy 404, TTC & YRT access. Great place to stop, get a bite and shop local.
The mall is quiet and has a retro feel. Need to bring in more unique stores to make the mall more lively. Most of the stores there are for essential services like drug store, banks, supermarket, dog food supplies, dollar store, clothing, furniture, key cutting, etc. The mall serves the community well.
