Adina simply saved my life with my skin condition that I had psoriasis which I got after going on a immunotherapy drug for two years. My skin was just awful and I had psoriasis pretty much all over my body. Adina was extremely helpful throughout the 6 month treatment plan. From the first appointment to the last. After only a month of being on the treatment plan, I could experience and see major changes to my skin. By month 6, everything cleared completely and the skin regenerated fully. I'm now 4 months post treatment and my skin still looks better then ever. I have Adina to thank for this. Skin conditions can be extremely discouraging and can cause social anxiety and depression. I had really bad eczema back in December. Would scratch and it seemed like I couldn't reach the itch. My eyes were always red and swollen, my foreheads my neck was red, behind my elbows, behind knees, my torso, unde my earlobe, and even genitals depending on how inflamed I was that day. Adina helped me get back to normal. We would have a meeting every two weeks and see how the progress was. I also have to say my eczema was emotional as well so for you who have tried everything already, consider TCM treatment with Adina and also reconsider things that are going on in your life that can be affecting your skin because it is a manifestation and of underlying issue and I can say from experience no steroid cream is going to cure.. Also have patience, it took me nearly 4-6 months to consider myself back to normal. And Have faith.

I have been seeing Adina for more than ten years due to a sudden aggressive onset of eczema that affected my whole body. Before finding her I was treated multiple times with Western medicine, including in emergency where I was given prednisone which cleared the eczema within days but it returned even more aggressively once I tapered off the drug. I have had much experience with TCM and herbal teas from childhood but Adina was the only doctor I found who specialized in eczema that could treat my case. Dermatologists seemed at a loss and topical steroids they prescribed me eventually became ineffective or worsened the condition. I return to her with any eczema issues I have and she has always been able to find a concoction to improve the condition which now only affects a few fingers rather than the entire body. I have recommended Adina to friends who suffer from eczema and she has also helped to treat my migraines. After ten years with Adina I don't hesitate to reach out whenever a flare up occurs, and she has succeeded to treat even the most stubborn bouts of eczema for me. I haven't considered another doctor for eczema since finding her and she has always been responsive to my questions through email this is more effective than by phone.

I went to see Adina for a condition with my lips. I've been dealing with this for many years and finally thought I should try an alternative route after failed attempts with dermatologists. For my first session, I was 15-20 minutes early and the session went okay. For my second virtual followup, I had asked to reschedule the day prior due to a last minute emergency. I am not one to cancel or reschedule, but sometimes life happens and people need to understand that. I tried emailing a couple of times but there has been no response. She didn't bother sending me a receipt of my second payment as well. I thought I was thinking too much into it until I saw another review where someone experienced the exact same thing. Adina is nothing but cold and just outright arrogant. I don't understand how people like her work with vulnerable people dealing with conditions that can cause them depression and anxiety due to their conditions. It's also almost as if she wants you to continue begging her for appointments. Her ego is so high that she can't even respond back. Please take your business elsewhere to someone who is willing to take your condition seriously and offer some compassion. I know how hard it can be dealing with skin issues and the last thing you want to deal with is uncompassionate people like Adina. She should be ashamed.

Adina is fantastic. She is trustworthy, knowledgeable, and effectively treated my eczema. Before I saw her I had been using steroid cream several times a week for many years. Since she treated me I've only used it maybe 5 times over the course of a year. Highly recommended!

I've had psoriasis more than half my life and have had not much luck with conventional methods of treatment - the symptoms would always come back and often with a vengeance - I've been seeing Adina at the TCM skin clinic and the results have been amazing. Since adina's treatments and catered formulas I have not experienced any newly affected areas and longer periods of complete skin clearing. She is forthright and I appreciate the regular follow ups! She's always been super patient and understanding everytime i've had to Cancel and appointment as long as enough notice is given!!! I've even gotten used to the taste of the tea concoctions :

Extremely professional. Very thorough. Focused on service, not price unlike some other practitioners I've seen. Provides extra time and a lot of consideration goes into treatment protocols. Goes the extra mile. This is who I come to for tune ups whenever I feel imbalances physically or with my energy. I also refer people here when they are looking for answers with their health. Diagnostics are amazing. I trust that the people I refer will always have a quality experience and receive solutions and benefits. Of course with TCM in order to get results we need to comply with the treatment protocols and take the herbs everyday. It is not a quick fix...but if you follow their instructions and are patient, you will get results. Chinese Medicine perspective is always worth taking into consideration with any health problem. So often I find they can get to the root of the issue when no one else can.

I'll admit I've always been a tad skeptical when it comes to acupuncture. Not that I preach big pharma, either, but I've always wondered how effective small needles in my skin could be. One day my left foot shot up with a tremendous amount of pain, seemingly from nowhere. I tried to deal with it for a few days, even with pain killers, but it got to the point where I could barely put any weight on it without shrieking. So I figured what the hell, let's try it. Best decision I could have made. I was treated by Oksana, who was super gentle and easy on a first-timer like me. The treatment was painless I was nervous about that, too and surprisingly relaxing. The treatment was in the afternoon and it was explained to me that the effectiveness might take some time to kick in. Long story short, the next morning I woke up and the pain was gone. It's been gone ever since. Highly recommended.

I had an appointment with Adina a few months back. I have a serious condition that western medicine cannot treat. I had to cancel last minute for family reasons and have been trying to book an appointment with her since. Albeit the cancellation fee which I am more than happy to pay she seems to have no compassion to the emails and vms I leave her for a booking. She is one of the few specialists that can treat my issue and seemingly she has no compassion for the fact that I have a dangerous and urgent medical condition. For this reason I would have to assume that she is not only emotionally cold which is the opposite of what you'd want from a practicioner of medicine, has poor organization skills or is overall extremely incompetent. I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere for your business because from my apparently unforgivable cancellation and offer of reciprocation of payment for it she seems to simply not care about someone in dire need.

I had a chronic skin infection that all conventional methods had failed to cure. Dr Stanescu was forthright, inexpensive and provided me with clear instructions and affordable remedies. She even consulted with her teacher in England to verify the diagnosis. After 3 frustrating months using western treatments that did not work, I was cured in 2 weeks by TCM. I am a Certified Natural Health Practitioner and I now refer to The TCM Skin Clinic regularly. I read the other review and am not sure the person was really in touch with the TCM Skin Clinic. I have never had such an experience, even remotely.
