I'm incredibly frustrated with how the donation drop-off area is managed at this location, especially during non-office hours. As the photos show, the back alley often ends up looking like a complete mess, with items strewn everywhere. It attracts people who either take the donations or rummage through them, making things even worse. This isn't just an eyesore—it's a serious safety concern, particularly since kids pass by here on their way to school.nnI've seen people who seem to be under the influence of drugs hanging around the area, which makes it feel unsafe and downright disturbing for those of us who live nearby. This situation is absolutely unacceptable in what should be a supportive community space.nnI strongly urge management to step up and implement a better system for handling donations. Securing the area or restricting access after hours could make a big difference in keeping our neighborhood safe, clean, and free from this kind of chaos.
No words to describe how disappointed and frustrated I am in the customer service at this location. I accidentally dropped off a bag and called them to asked if I could pick up the items as it was dropped off by accident and had valuables in it. The girl on the phone remembered the items and then laughted and said it has already been priced. Honestly no words for such outrageous customer service. Do better salvation Army and stop hiring people who doesn't care and doesn't have any culture on how to deal with customer.
Never have I seen such inhumane treatment of a houseless person. I went to drop off something. There was a houseless man looking for a winter coat in the back. You know, the stuff no one wants anymore, that your so called “charity store” gets for free and sells back to people. The security guard berated him, and threatened to call the police on a man who was just politely looking for something to stay warm for the winter. Her anger completely out measured the situation at hand. Also, don’t you think the police have more pressing matters? It looks like empathy is totally gone from our society. I’m absolutely baffled. Never shopping here again or donating anything here again.
super small but if you visit every week or two/live or work somewhat nearby you are bound to find something. employees are very nice and polite but aisles are narrow and senior ladies with grocery carts block them all the time so its a bit harder to pass. love checking it out but some prices are a bit steep from time to time

The only downside is the donation drop-off area at the back — it’s small, understaffed, and sometimes attracts issues like people rummaging through or stealing donated items, often from nearby homeless or substance users. The store should consider adding more staff there and improving its donation handling process.
