Definitely the best Indian Food that I have had in many years, and I eat a lot of Indian Food. Great service, good prices, gluten free and good atmosphere. Definitely worth going to.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant! The food here is phenomenal and the waitress we had was kind, tentative and friendly. The place was clean, beautifully decorated and the food came out hot and fresh. We tried the butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, Palak paneer and lentil dahl with a few appetizers too. You get a lot of food at a very decent price. I've seen a few people saying they thought The Royal Turban was expensive but I find it cheap for the amount and quality of food. Also, high-quality Indian restaurants have similar prices so maybe they have not been to a nice Indian restaurant before. Either way, amazing food with superior flavour, great atmosphere, friendly staff and awesome experience! Check it out if you get the chance.
Had been craving for soya chaap for so long and I have found the right place. The ambiance was lovely, simple yet elegant. Service was good and quick. Tried the achari soya chaap, dal makhani and veg biryani. All the items had our desi delhi Punjabi taste.
What a magnificent spot for traditional Indian cuisine in the heart of Woodstock.. Decorative ambience with richly luxurious and expensive interior.. Mouth melting food, may be a bit on expensive side but still worth every penny..
Food is excellent. Service is excellent. Prices are a little expensive. Probably why it was packed at the chain restaurant next door, and empty at the Royal Turban.
Great ambience, and the food is even excellent. We ordered spring rolls, a mushroom curry and chilli paneer with naan and rice. The dishes were very well prepared and the staff was very courteous. I would recommend this place and come back in future.
Way overpriced for smaller portions and minimal taste. I ordered delivery and got rice that was like pudding and tasted like cigarette buds. The chana masala and paneer saag had zero flavour, like eating matter and the garlic naan had hairs cooked into it. There are many other Indian restaurants in Woodstock, some cheaper than here, to eat at instead. Remember, fancy decor and high prices doesn't mean good food.
Its a good Indian resturant, the service is great and ambiance is good too when compared to other options in Woodstock. I tried the paneer pakora, Shahi paneer and Butter naan. Food was really tasty, I would recommend this place if you wanna give Indian cuisine a try.
