The place itself wasn't too bad, we went on a Saturday night and were surprised at how empty it was. The surprise quickly left after we received our food. The food wasn't terrible but when you charge $9.50 for an order of Zucchini Sticks it's expected that you'll receive more than 7 small sticks. To serve that few is dishonest and just taking advantage of your customers. With portion sizes like this I don't expect this place to survive the summer. I know I won't return.
Great food, good service only thing that disappointed me was the was only one waiter for the whole restaurant bar and foodwhen it was really busy. But really impressed with the service even if we did had to wait a long time.
Food left a weird taste in my mouth for hours after, kind of like a fast food aftertaste. Poor waitresses were swept off their feet by the number of customers - we waited at least 45 minutes from finishing our food to paying the bill. It was very slow service, but the waitress was nice and refilled my drink plenty of times. Unfortunately both partner and I felt sick the evening of and the next morning after our meal. So not a great experience, but the ambiance of the pub is nice.
A big shout out to the Oak and particularly Kyle who made a very special birthday evening for my dear friends. Kyle went above and beyond to help and to accommodate my requests to make the night special. Drinks were cold and delicious! Big love from Oklahoma
Awesome staff, good chill crowd. PET FRIENDLY patio, staff is so nice to pets as well; water bowls treats… etc Chorizo burger is the Bomba!!
Thought service was slow, but I found my meal very good. Me and my family went for supper about a week ago and decided to sit outside. The restsurant had beautiful plants hanging and took a family picture. I ordered special of day and it was a club wrap with a potato soup. Best potato soup I've ever tasted so far and it's still on my mind.
We like going to the Oak - Orléans. Good service. Good food. Good atmosphere. Often short staffed though, which is probably a 'sign of the current times' Food: 4/5
Love the atmosphere, bands that come in and play are a blast to listen to. I always enjoy my stays at the Oak. Especially the Karaokes.Food: 5/5
Nice relaxed vibe. Patio area available, as well as plenty of indoor seating. Variety of drinks. Good pub style food.
