My family hosted my baby shower at Chateau Royal last Sunday and I was beyond satisfied with this venue. The food lunch buffet, room, and service were exceptional! I received many compliments from the guests regarding the service and buffet quality. I am so happy they decided to host the event there as it made the day even more memorable! Very nice and spacious venue. Everything is clean and the staff is very nice and efficient in their way of working. They don't seem to provide chairs and tables though, which is a bit of a bummer.

This place was beyond disappointing. I was a guest at a work Christmas party with over 800 people. You would think the service would be impeccable... IT WASN'T. The food took forever to arrive. The entrées were okay, but the proportions were different from plate to plate. The main course took 2h45 to arrive! Why? The servers kept bringing bread basket after bread basket and kept replenishing the butter too, but no main course. And when it finally arrived, it was lukewarm, not hot. Disappointing. A few of the women working coat check were unpleasant, especially if you didn't tip. The servers looked like they hated their job and didn't know what to do the majority of the time. The one nice thing was the people greeting you at the entrance and guiding you towards the coat check. All in all, a beautiful location but horrible service and staff. Would not recommend at all unless your guests don't mind waiting a LONG TIME FOR FOOD.
