Excellent service and the most delicious food. Friday night at 6:30 it was a full house so we had a bit of a long wait but in the end we were seated and our drink orders were fulfilled promptly , followed by our food. I ordered the fish and chips and it was the best battered fish I have eaten in a long time…not to mention the delicious onion rings that my daughter ordered along with her famous Rose burger. All good, and we’ll be back every Friday!
Classic local pub with upgraded food and service. It’s our new local and we highly recommend to every one. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious after the beef short rib sandwich. Fried are good, beer is great and service always comes with a smile.
Ok so I met this guy who said he worked here a few days ago. It’s really close to my new house so I stopped in after work, and ordered take for us…I had the Black and Blue burger and it wad definitely not diary free, it was very good. The onion rings were perfect too.My fiancé had a #diary free version of the Bahn me chicken burger and it was amazing! The jalapeño, cilantro and slaw was delicious with the chicken. Also the fries were fantastic!!
Arrived to have lunch and all the staff welcomed us at the door. The staff asked where we would like to sit and pointed out the pros of each area. The service was friendly, quick and always with a smile. I had lemon chicken soup which was so good and sticky toffee pudding that was out of this world. This dessert should definitely be shared!!! I would highly recommend this gem.
I really like this place, but it's fairly overpriced and the menu needs a complete overhaul/refresh. The chicken tenders were good the first time I had them awhile back, now they come chewy and overcooked. Clearly they make in advance and freeze them, but it's not good when they're almost as chewy as beef jerky - and for $18? No. My friend had a beef dip which came with processed cheese on it which ruined the sandwich. Drinks are decent and the ambiance is nice, and the outdoor area is nice in the summer.
Great little local pub. We stopped in for late night dessert and enjoyed our time. Live music that night and the band was great.
Great food, great place to gather with good friends and neighbors! Very comfortable feel with outstanding staff!
The Rose is a fun, lively, smaller bar. Nice outdoor patio. Bar games inside. Cheap specials on food and drink. Don't expect anything fancy. Can be difficult to pin down service during busy times. Overall a good place to meet after work for a drink. Had the salmon burger and potato soup - was excellent!!
We love this place! Food is consistently good and the staff are always friendly and welcoming!
I can’t say it enough - the staff here are absolutely amazing. Super witty servers! The food was fantastic! Fries were super good! Food is a bit pricey but drinks are very reasonable in price! Patio is amazing, makes you feel like your at a friends barbecue! Inside definitely feels like a pub but super fun vibe as it’s a neighbourhood pub! Definitely recommend going with friends for the patio!
