Great place to grab some good coffee drinks, tea, or even a spritzer. The owner, Katie, is fantastic. She makes time for everyone who walks through the door. Tasting flights are well worth trying. Lots of local art for sale featured on the walls and shelves. You really feel like a part of the neighborhood when you stop in.
Super lovely staff and amazing atmosphere. The drinks are good too! They have such cute local things and a bunch of air purifiers going at the moment because of the horrid air quality outside lately. A definite go to now whenever i’m in the area
Omg!! My new favorite coffee shop in Renton. I love supporting local artists while grabbing a coffee as well! My oat milk latte was fabulous their coffee is amazing and I got a great haul of handmade treasures. Would highly recommend :Dine in: Yes
This is a lovely little uniquely styled shop offering coffee, tea and snacks as well as gifts. There also have some works of art from a local painter. Definitely stop by and say hi to Katie and enjoy.
What a gem! Very cozy and well decorated and curated coffee shop with really cool local gifts and goodies. Plenty of seating from window view to cozy booths in the back. Wish I had taken some inside pics too. Highly recommend!
Owner Katie is Amazing... Friendly, Talkative, Quirky, Fun and a Great Baristra. Always a fun experience as she brings in many local artistry in for enjoyment and purchase. Can't go wrong with trying the Specials and the Seasonal drinks and pastries are a must. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of seating, can sit and play boardgames while enjoying a nice Vanikka Steamer or Kids Coffee. Local artisans work to view and purchase paintings, knickknacks, jewelry and more. Parking: Parking available in front of shop and 20 ft away in side public parking lot over 40 spaces Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from the street along with easy access inside for move ability. Spacious restroom with plenty of holding/stability points.
Super cute shop the coffee was okay. The really sweet girl making it was new and didn't really know the drinks very well. Will have to go again at another time ND try a hot drink.
If I lived in Renton, my wallet would suffer because I think I'd probably want to visit The Rose everyday. I ended up there yesterday kind of by accident. Such a happy accident. The service was excellent and some of the coffee choices were wonderfully unique. But, most of all, I was fascinated to find myself in one of those rare gems - a place where everybody really does seem to known your name. During the 2 hours I sat there, getting work done, drinking the lovely 3rd St Vanilla Latte, there was only one other customer that the owner didn't know, and that's because they, like me, were from out of town. By the time they sat down with their coffees, though, they, too were like old friends. So, when in Renton, come to The Rose for your coffee and know it'll come with a dash of friendship!
This place is legit. Super cute gifts made by local artists, and also good seating for studying/hanging out towards the back. I got an americano just to test out the coffee and it was quite good. They also had some fun drink options which I’ll probably try next time. Also, i don’t remember what the barista name was, but she knew literally everything about Renton and the greater Seattle area. A couple came in to the shop from out of town, and asked her for recommendations of places to go/eat, and she basically made them an itinerary. I asked specifically for fun things to do in Renton and she gave me like five suggestions that all sounded awesome.
Loved the atmosphere of this place! The coffee was yummy, and the owner was a gem. Definitely going to be a new neighborhood staple for me! Can't wait to try some of their specials too, sounds like some interesting ones.
