Wonderful as always! Nothing like it! The warmth, the colors, the friendliness of the people was absolutely wonderful! I found items to use and share with my students at school and to use with my child at home! Will definitely go back, and may stay the weekend next time so I'm not rushing back home.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Went on a 3 day trip with my friend to Corning NY to visit the museum and found this museum which was so nice. The art work was beautiful. My friend especially loved it since her daughter lives in Albuquerque New Mexico. I found cute items in the gift shop too. Very nice. Would visit again.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$16–20
Nice museum downtown Corning. Bought the combo ticket with the Corning Museum. Nicely designed with some interesting pieces and exhibits. Several floors and a nice balcony patio to take a break and enjoy the local scenery. Doesn't take that long to tour. Easy parking access or there is a shuttle from the Corning Museum.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$11–15
A must visit while in or near Cooperstown. Good collection. Great special exhibits. Even the school children's art projects were worthy of a look.
We visited Corning for the weekend and spent a lovely morning at The Rockwell Museum - what a gem! We certainly are not knowledgeable in the world of art and found the exhibits very accessible. The audio presentations were great, the anecdotes from museum staff were very insightful and challenged us to see deeper into the piece of art. I was especially touched and moved by the blanket installation. We loved the student exhibit - what a great means to engage young artists! We will recommend The Rockwell.
Wonderful little museum in a beautiful historic building. They have a great collection of Western and Native American art and special exhibits. I particularly liked the juxtaposition of the traditional and the modern Native American art.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
Beautifully kept building. Very old and a lot of history there. Very nice art museum. Not overly large area but definitely worth checking out. Some very interesting pieces of art there. We bought tickets as a package deal at the Corning Glass Museum. Great deal!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Amazing gem in the middle of Corning. I was especially taken with the third floor exhibit of the American Indian art, crafts and stories. It was really something to see. Currently the second floor is a large exhibit of sculpture by a blind veteran which is hands on. The gift shop has a great selection since it is an affiliate of the Smithsonian!
Excellent small museum with some wonderful Native American artwork. The artwork Is housed in a fabulous space! It was greatly organized and put together. The quick scavenger hunt did a great job to engage my Kids! The small gift shop was good. They have some wonderful gifts! I definitely recommend this place to visit!!
