One of our most visited restaurants in Calgary. Really nice and friendly staff and well maintained interior We had tried their chicken lollipop, chilly chicken, fried rice and butter chicken.. food is always tasty..really great restaurant for east Indian food..Food always surprise me, the flavours and the spices are always top notch.

Service was welcoming and friendly, decent pricing and good food with good quantities. One star less as the chutneys could be better and could have more dessert options. Tried the following - Podi idli - 3/5 - expected more podi on the idlis Chicken dosa - 5/5 - must try Wadas - 4/5 - 3 wadas in 1 plate, were crispy and fresh Chicken lollipop - 5/5 - perfectly cooked, nice and juicy and very thin crust of batter. 8 pieces in 1 plate Will definitely recomnend

Visited the place as we were looking for a South Indian food near downtown . It was around 15 mins drive in the lunch hour . Nice place and welcoming people. Lunch combo with Vada and dosa is my favourite at a goof price as well . It’s a good sized dosa and Vada for a meal . Price is reasonable as well . I’ve visited couple times in past few months just for the combo .

Promising taste...friendly crew...Will definitely recommend them for having the best dine-in experience in Calgary. Try their Chicken Fried Rice asking for it to be done like chennai fast food...I am damn sure you will love it.

Good authentic Indian restaurant with proper taste. We have ordered prawns biryani, Masala fried fish and onion rava dosa. Fish taste is outstanding… it’s mouth watering.. enjoyed it throughly. Prawns biryani was average. I was expecting rava dosa to be crispier but that’s the chefs choice… I should have given special instructions. Overall good taste and ambience is also decent. Tried their filter coffee and that gave us a perfect closure to dinner. I would love to visit again. Thank you

This place is one of the best South Indian restaurant in Calgary. Food is really delicious. Before visiting this place , I heard they have really good Paneer dosa, when I tried it, it was really one of the best. We tried Paneer dosa, Rava masala dosa, idli Vada combo and chilli paneer. Each and every item was really tasty. I recommend trying paneer dosa and chilli paneer. We also tried tea but it was not up to the mark. The tea they serve is powdered, not fresh.

Rockfort is one of the best south Indian restaurant in Calgary... The taste is authentic south Indian taste... We ordered variety of dosa, idli, vada and chilly paneer.. there CHILLY PANEER best Indochinese is the best in Calgary... Spicy & perfectly cooked.... we also ordered extra spicy rockfort masala dosa- the chef did full justice to the taste.... And at the end, there filter coffee is like icing on cake.. can't skip it.. Looking forward to try there other dishes . Too ...

Hidden gem in the south west… no idea why more people have not heard of this restaurant… everything we ordered were amazing…. The dishes we liked the most were masala dosa and fried rice… other dishes we ordered were naan, roti, chicken kurma and fish molly…tea and mango lassi for drinks… the place is packed during dinner time and i also noticed lots of people queue up for take outs… so make sure you come early or call and make a reservation before you show up…

Masala dosa is always good, you need a BAD chef to make it bad or a great chef to make it very good : I would rate the dosa here very good. Ordered beef chetinad which had nice aroma and flavors too.. One think I did not like was the way filter coffee was served..I was expecting a proper south Indian style..but it was served in cup and saucer : though coffee was good This place is definitely worth trying..
