It was my first time coming here. A friend who trains here recommended it to me. The place is incredible, the facilities are top-notch, the staff was friendly and charismatic, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. I’ll definitely be back.
I’ve climbed here for years and I can speak for myself and others that the sets here are legitimately terrible and far too infrequent. Quality has decreased significantly over the last ~2 years since their previous setters left. Used their expansion that nobody asked for as an excuse to increase prices 20-30%. Great way to gouge people while providing less value! Decent amount of sport climbing though. Cancelled my membership and won’t be returning.
We hosted my son’s 7th birthday party at Rock Oasis and it was absolutely perfect. The kids had an amazing time, not only with the climbing, but also in the kids’ area, which was really fun, engaging, and nicely integrated into the rock-climbing theme, so everyone stayed entertained even when they weren’t on the walls. The staff were friendly, organized, and incredibly helpful, and the party area was very convenient for hosting and gathering. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!
New and improved and now probably up there as one of the best climbing gyms in the GTA. Expanded bouldering area with a wide range of modern comp style and traditional, outdoorsy, crimpier routes. Hold sets are brand new across both the OG and expanded bouldering areas. Full-sized adjustable TB2 is coming soon in addition to their adjustable kilter and MB 2016. The gym also has a variety of rope routes mainly top rope and auto-belays for “high gravity” days. Only suggestion would be to sort out the parking situation in the back but it is probably out of the gym’s control due to the construction. Can’t wait to train and climb here again!
The place is nice and tidy, they added a new bouldering section witch almost doubled the bouldering area plus there's the climbing area where you can self belay, top rope and lead. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and available.nI like it there.
