That was the perfect veggie omelette eggs were not overcooked.
The food at the roadside grill, makes me think they picked up roadkill and had to cook it to second death. Caesar salad is over dressed, the chicken on the salad was dry with no flavour. I had chicken wings that made me regret it instantly. The wings were burnt and the BOH clearly haven’t changed the deep fryer oil in quite some time.nnMy wife’s wrap had no sauce in it, so it was dry wrap with vegetables. Fries were cold on delivery for both my son and wife.nnWhen asked how everything was, I resorted to No comment because the laundry list is full. I then let them know the complaints. Not only did it fall upon deaf ears but there was no compensation off the bill. We had maybe 3 or 4 bites for each meal and then left everything on the table.nnThey need some serious training at the front of house and back of house as the importance of these issues are not just for my benefit, but for the future of this perfectly placed restaurant!
Stopped on a road trip- visiting from out of the province. Best burgers ever! I got the Roadhouse Burger and my boyfriend got the Mozza Mushroom Burger. Service was friendly and food was hot and fresh. Will be talking about these burgers for a while!
Good stop when travelling on Trans Canada 1 in both directions.nLarge variety of food from all day breakfast, burgers, salads and sandwiches and soups.nUnfortunately no WiFi. Staff is polite and helpful. There are family booths for 4-5 people and desks for 2-6 people. There is a Esso gas station at the same location. Restrooms are okay.
Food was alright, service was good at first but the waitress never came to check up on us or see if we needed water or anything, don't totally blame the bad service on the waitress she was the only waitress working at the time. The atmosphere of the restaurant is kinda dingy and outdated
