This was an extremely fun and breathtaking course! We had so so much fun playing here. There were lots of blind shots which were very challenging due to the weather. We had some fog, but it was still a super fun time! The views of the lake were outstanding! They are still currently building the clubhouse but the half way house was perfect for a snack after the round.
Well maintained course but still needs to finish development. No clubhouse or restaurant but has decent facilities on site and a well stocked cart. Overall a shorter course but big elevation changes can make target shooting difficult. If you're shooting well you can likely score well here. Beautiful views make it worth the price of admission alone.
Phenomenal and challenging. Scenic golf course overlooking Okanagan lake, the city of Vernon, and surrounding mountains. Course is great shape and a lot of fun. You need a golf cart as walking would take too long. Unless you are a precision golfer, I recommend bringing extra golf balls as we lost quite a few on our round. Great day on the course. Look forward to the completion of the pro shop and clubhouse.
Not for new golfers, thats for sure. Great staff and service. Best hot dog at the turn. Not a lot for facilities or warm up. The front nine is just hard for first timer visitors. No free bounces either. Views and scenery are amazing. Even the inside holes without lake views are gorgeous. It's target golf. I am looking forward to playing it a second time once I get a 220 yd hybrid club for my bag. I hit a fairly straight 3 wood 250 and it was no help at all and my driver should not have been used at all. On approach, we all felt we were one club too short on uphill and downhill shots
A really great golf course right on top of the ridge. They did a great job of fitting the course to the natural features. Plays well for those who can control their shots and distance. Greens were in great shape just wish more people would repair their ball marks. Not much in the way of facilities, so be prepared for just the golf. Definately a return visit in the future.
Spectacular views but a difficult course to play just once due to the numerous blind shots on the first nine holes. The second nine is more traditional and you can expect your longest drive ever on #17. Certainly a must play
This is one of the best, and most difficult, golf courses I've ever played. Challenging golf, amazing views, and fantastic service, make for a great outing. Couldn't ask for more. Side note, spend the $12.50 per person to upgrade the cart. Well worth it.
Perhaps one of the most challenging courses I have played. The first nine is very undulated. The views are stunning. No clubhouse or range on site are the only reason this is not 5-star.
An amazing challenging track, spectacular views, course is in perfect shape, they actually have a marshall that does his job so play was smooth. Highly recommend this course
By far the most beautiful course in the Okanagan, each whole has a spectacular view, and each is fun, yet challenging. The staff we're extremely pleasant and helpful, if you are to ever golf in the Okanagan, The Rise is where you should start.
