The best icecream. You can make your own flavour from a long list of ingredients, served in a home made waffle cone.
The ice cream was excellent. I had mixed berry in vanilla ice cream that was blended in a way I have never seen before. It was very good. It also had neat outdoor seating to enjoy the treats.
This is such a cool concept. You pick a base ice cream flavor which is an ice cream block, plus mixing that are then interestingly blended together, incredibly fine, to result in a unique serving. I did overdo it by picking strawberries AND mixed berries which completely overpowered the chocolate, so if you go for more than one mixing, I’d recommend some diversity snd nothing too alike.

Absolutely the best ice cream you can buy! It's super super creamy. It's homemade with heavy cream and fresh ingredients, so you'll have to wait for your cheat day to enjoy this ice cream. You know it's homemade when you look into their kitchen and see refrigerator shelves packed with cartons of heavy cream. Options are plenty and portions are big. Dairy free frozen treats are also available!
Excellent ice cream, great coconut based ones as well. Home made waffle cones and bowls etc were fantastic. Short walk to the water from here, no reason not to go!!
Amazing on every level! The service was great. The older gentleman was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and was very inviting. The swings at the window table were unique and brought back a certain nostalgia. Importantly, their handmade in-house ice cream was AMAZING. It was full of flavour, just enough to make it delicious. Between the flavour, atmosphere, service and experience, The Real Scoop is now a place that I will stop at every trip I make to the Valley.
Delicious ice cream. Regular options of chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and salted caramel but lots of rotating non dairy vegan options. My son loved the lemon sorbet. Lots of options for floats, milk shakes, or just tea and coffee. Nice front porch to relax on and enjoy your treat.
This is a 5 star ice cream experience. I had an awesome Oreo vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone. Everyone else in our party had root beer and cold pressed coffee floats. Both were great. Extra points for swings in the shop. Extra extra points for retailing Newfoundland Chocolate Company chocolates.
