I can’t believe I haven’t left a review here yet. I’ve been coming here every few months for over 2 years, and it’s just consistently awesome. I’m very grateful to have somewhere like this to go to!! I’m almost afraid to tell people how good it is in case it gets busier than it already is but that’s selfish.nnPool tables are usually in very good condition, pool cue maintenance could use some work most people bring their own, highly recommend it if you can. Lighting over tables is good. Drink options are plentiful and always quality, never a flat beer etc - but the PIZZA! If you’re not coming here for the pool, you have to come here for the pizza. They have such unique, creative options, truly a handcrafted menu of their own design.nnEverything is great, you have to trust all the other amazing reviews!
My go-to place for pizza. Disappointed tonight. Granted it was busy at 7 p.m. on a Thursday but it took too long to flag down a server. Wifey’s small Ange pizza was good. My small custom pizza had no anchovies on 3 wedges, black olives sparsely sprinkled on roughly 1/2 and little feta cheese except for the centre. The place had cleared out quite a bit by the time our pizza arrived 8 p.m. so the kitchen wasn’t slammed with orders. Off night? Maybe, but I left disappointed.
Has The Real Deal changed hands? Just picked up dinner and was incredibly disappointed. Perhaps the worst pizza I have ever had. Wrong toppings and what was there, was very limited, the bottom was burnt on one half and there was literally no cheese to be found. The wings which previously were some of the best in town, were tiny, tasted like they were premade and were in a freezer for far too long. Not sure 7 of these tiny things could make up a pound. Half of the pizza will be thrown out. A shame. We used to tell everyone how good the food was here. Sorry but wont be able to do that anymore.
Well I can’t actually speak for the atmosphere as I had my food delivered. I was not about to skew what is going to be a stellar review though so 5 across the board! For 8 years I’ve been trying to find my favourite pizza in Guelph. Found a few good ones. Thought I’d recently found my number one. That was until i ordered a real deal pizza. I got the supreme with a side of dry rub wings, sauce on side. Well here goes, best crust, great sauce. Good ratio of everything and generous portions. Char and cup pepperoni is my favourite. The wings were crispy on the outside and juicy inside and a good size. Everything was very fresh. Thanks a lot real deal. You have now ruined me for all other pizza in Guelph! Delicious. Can’t wait to take the leftovers for my lunch at work tomorrow. I may have to hide them from the boy child….
The food is amazing, we’re always impressed with everything we get. Atmosphere is a bit loud because it’s a pool hall but we like it because we can bring out loud toddler and not be embarrassed. It does take a while to receive your food after you order but it’s very much worth the wait!
