The Purple Room

"The Purple Room is a producer of live performing arts events in Winnipeg, Manitoba.We began in March 2013 as a rehearsal and performance space in the back of Frame Arts Warehouse. While that iteration ended in August 2015, the artist and community-driven ethos of the Purple Room still lives on.We produce the long-running CaRaVaN Open Mic and Open Stage every Monday night mid-May through mid-September at the Cube in Old Market Square; during the remaining time at X-Cues Café & Lounge, book the music stages at the Manitoba Night Market & Festival and other events at Assiniboia Downs, co-produce the comedy game show Pants on Fire, run Cake 'n Shake, and put on a variety of other music and comedy events throughout the city."
