We went here for pumpkin patch before pandemic and it was never this busy. I gave it a try again after 2 years of lockdown. Never experienced this huge line up to buy ticket because I purchased our ticket online and it was wayyy faster. There’s a separate booth and they just scan your phone so I suggest book online and you get a little bit of discount too. They have a huge parking lot and lots of guides you just have to be patient. Once you get in you have to line up again for the ride. This ride will bring you to the pumpkin patch. They have entertainer in the ride live performer. There’s a lot of spots/patch to pick your pumpkin so don’t hurry and enjoy your walk and take photos. The corn maze is huge too. It’s hard to get out if you get lost but it was fun. There’s a few food stalls and decent place to eat but be prepared to line up. I suggest bring water if you can. The weather is still warm, I feel so dehydrated but had to get water outside because it’s almost 4pm when we left and there’s still a long line up to get in and still long line up for the food. I love this farm whether sunflower fest or pumpkin patch because aside from being close to home, there’s a lot of parking, the staff are nice and it’s not overpriced.
Well organized pumpkin patch at Richmond Ticket: There are two options of pumpkin walk out & cart ride with $15 & $20 each respectively, if tickets bought online one day advance. Otherwise $5 will be additional for window tickets. I recommend walk out as it’s not so big area to explore that u need cart. Parking: Organized parking for walk out & cart ride separately with sign boards. Things to carry: Mud shoes or other pair of shoes is mandatory as it’s lot of muddy floor. Photos: Clicks are awesome with props, pumpkins & corn maze. Food: Handy food can be carried & few food trucks are also available there. Winery: Little but crowded, tasting wine is available or patio is also available to drink or eat food. Prices are bit high but it’s okay. Caution: Slippery & mud floor, specially corn maze is full of dip mud so be careful while walking. Organizers may do something for hard mud so visitors can walk smoothly. Overall highly recommended once in a seasonally.
Had a blast at the Sunflower Festival. You travel to the field by tractor or a small train accompained by live music. All flowers and sunflowers on the field are fantastic, the maze which look short at east at the beginning turns out to be quite fun and challenging to escape. Overall, 10 out 10 experience, didn't expect it to be that well organized and filled with fun activities. Recommend to visit!
We were looking for pumpkin patch and came to this farm. It's a big farm which has a market as well as pumpkin patch with corn maze. We did the ride to the farm it was fun. There are beautiful places to click nice good pictures. Little eatery inside the farm with music band to entertain you. Lot of kids having fun. It was wonderful time spent on a Sunday afternoon. Would want to come back to checkout the market.
Took videos mostly so don’t have many photos to share. Prepare extra pair of shoes as you could get wet and muddy easily. Good atmosphere with food vendors, lots of pumpkin, and flower field! Lots of cute animals kids can check out. Also lots of spots for photos! Came here around 4:30pm today, was sunny and sun was setting, it was glorious. Kid had a great time! The winery seemed very nice, would try it next time.
It's a fun autumn afternoon activity for kids and adults. I'd recommend wearing waterproof boots as it was very, very muddy in the fields even though it's been dry/sunny the last couple days.
AMAZING So much more than anyone can imagine. So much to do and see. Live music in the wagon ride and gazebo. Old truck and tractors kids can sit in. Flowers galore. Pumpkins on forever fields. Just stunning.
So much fun in pumpkin patch farm. Not only for kids entrance fee is $20 ride the wagon for 5 mins. With the entertainer. Experience the country side feelings. You can see different animals in the area of your are from other side and want to take train. Get off Richmond brighouse. Take bus 408 403. And get off on the farm. Look for there site for different event. Free pumpkin when we get there and apple when going home.
Awesome! Long walks through the fields so be prepared to get messy kids muddy buddy, boots. The wagon ride was entertaining and totally worth the $5 difference. The entertainer was fabulous and the views were fun cows, birds, ponds etc. The performers and layout/design of the space pre-wagon ride was a gift - great opportunity for pictures. The dahlia flowers the farm has a festival were still holding on at the ends of October and were lovely to see with bursts of colour between the muddy field. The pumpkins were all spread out and easy to pick. Just hard to carry as it is at the start of the drop off point and there is roughly 200-500m of walking to the maze and other activities. The staff worked tirelessly to make the paths as accessible as possible, using straw as a barrier between the moisture of the field. I would skip a stroller unless it’s a running stroller with higher clearance and bring a folding wagon with good wheels to carry kids, belongings and your pumpkins! The reason for this is because the mud just churns in the stroller wheels and gets stuck and super messy. Be prepared to get messy. Be prepared to walk. Be prepared to have awesome photos. Opt for the wagon ride if you haven’t been yet.
Love to come here every fall. Many activities for family with kids. Very cheap tickets.
