Great place to kick off date night with a cocktail and some appetizers! Dion is a craftsman at crafting craft drinks. Have one or two. This is not your typical bar. It’s for those who enjoy a quality cocktail! The food and service is top notch and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are on vacation!
Had a great time trying the drinks and learning the menu with staff. The cocktails are creative and fun and the food was fantastic. If you're ever in Bay City, is recommend stopping in!
Phenomenal handcrafted drinks, excellent service, delicious food and a great ambience...definitely the best cocktails in Bay City. They even have Happy Hour weekdays 4-6
Today was our first time here and we definitely loved everything! Great service, delicious food and oh what can I say about their cocktails! Lovely
Unique drinks and a really cool atmosphere. A great place to sit and have cocktails and some intelligent conversation. Music is very low key atmosphere very classy. Really enjoyed cocktails with my daughter.
Had a funky cocktail that was soooo good! Ethan, the bartender, was great. Answered all our questions and was just a nice guy. We will definitely be back!
It's a super fancy place. The cocktails are top notch. You can customize your drinks, the bartenders are really skilled. Don't really have a lot of food options, but the tacos we tried were really great. The ambience is great, have a pretty archaic feel. The ice spheres were fascinating :
Met a friend for some drinks and appetizers. Great atmosphere, serious bartenders and decent food. A couple annoyances would be that the bar stools are immovable and a bit close for two friends. The bathroom is obviously for just one person at a time, although it has no lock. Overall a nice experience.
Always a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is great and the drinks are unique and hand crafted. Brunch is one of the best in the area.
Went in and had a couple cocktails the other night, and, let me tell you, it was fan-tastic! However, drinking did lead to my need to visit the facilities a couple times and that's where my experience went to a whole new level. I love the bathroom decor. Very minimalistic, very clean--which is very important when it comes to judging bathrooms. I appreciated the see-through storage cabinet, as I do not like running out of toilet paper while in the restroom. The cabinet showcased the forethought that went into stocking for this cocktail bar and prevents anxiety within those of us who constantly worry while in our most vulnerable of positions. There was a single candle lighting the bathroom but overhead lights are available to the observant. The walls, like much of the interiors, are painted white, which is pleasing. I'm not making a political statement, rather, I just appreciate the way in which white things don't absorb as much light. I was only able to see the men's room but got a peek at the women's room, too only for the purposes of this review. There are a few minor differences that I noticed but I didn't have time to snap as many photos of the lady-john as I wished. However, I did try my darndest to get my traveling companion to go take pictures but she refused, saying I was "being weird." Nonetheless, I highly recommend both bathrooms at the Public House but only for paying patrons!. My only complaint about my experience was that I didn't know how to lock the bathroom doors, at first, which lead to a slightly awkward moment where I had to converse with a man as I was washing my hands. He asked me whether this was "a two person operation" or not. I'm not witty so I only said, "no." The lock to the door is located directly under the handle one of the pictures highlights this feature so no one else has to experience such a crises again. Anyway, the food and drinks at the public house are great so go check them out. The hand carved ice is totally see through because of the unique way in which they freeze their cubes. Good luck to all the employees and the wonderful owner, Lyndsay!
