Welcome to the Powerhouse. Where great food, good friends and a little bit of history come together.

Story

The POWERHOUSE, a historical landmark at the centre of Stoney Creek, provided power for electric rail lines in the 1890s. Now, more than a century later, this small piece of history is home to an exciting restaurant.

Come by and take a seat at our 18 ft. bar. Once the vestry at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York. We have great space for parties! Experience what The Powerhouse has to offer!

Delicious. Yummy. Super tasty. We had a patio experience and we felt safe. The tables were distanced. Everything was clean. The staff were accommodating of my allergies and professional yet fun. I can't wait to come back and this time bring the kids!
Stumbled across this restaurant on Eats one night in lockdown and it has been my go-to ever since. I've tried a few different dishes and have loved them all. Especially the fish and chips! And of course, the spinach dip I can't wait till this pandemic is over so this restaurant can be my first night out!!
Ordered through uber eats. Wanted to try their brisket. I received 3 large pieces and 1 of the 3 pieces was super dry. I soaked it in BBQ sauce, which was really good, just to make it edible. The other 2 pieces were great. I would order again, but not happy about this experience
Really yummy pub food. The takeout has been always consistantly good. Still haven't eaten in yet.
Ordered the Valentine's Special with the Charcuterie board. Absolutely fabulous! Portions were large.The prime rib melted in your mouth. Dessert was excellent. All this at a great price too! Well done Powerhouse!
Food is okay, i was expecting more as we were there for lunch. It was more of like "bar food" which is not bad but nothing special about it. Ribs was dry although i really enjoyed the pizza. Im not coming back for lunch for sure but i can for some drinks maybe.
