Had the club sandwich and it was delicious. Also tried the scallops and I will get those again. Beautiful place with magnificent view. Service was outstanding. I will most certainly return. Worth checking out.
This place absolutely blew me away! Good selection of beers, really good food at reasonable prices, and their patio has I would argue one of the very best views anywhere on the Avalon Peninsula. We came right when the capelin were rolling it and it was delightful to watch the whales breach while sipping on a nice Quidi Vidi sessional and having a well-fried piece of cod. The only downside is that many others have also realized what a gem this place is, so it can get quite busy during peak hours. I'd recommend coming on a Monday or Tuesday if you really want to get the full experience without the crowds.
We ordered nachos and spinach + feta dip for the table which were tasty and filling. I got a flight and really enjoyed the sou’western. My cod burger was tasty and other people at the table ordered fish and chips and smash burgers, everyone enjoyed their meals! Our waitress was friendly and the view was gorgeous which are additional pros about this spot!
Had an amazing experience here! The restaurant is so clean and the service was amazing. Their food is absolutely delicious. We had the onion rings to start which were probably the best onion rings I have ever had at a restaurant. The smash burger was phenomenal. The fish was so fresh and the tartar sauce was delicious. The fries were great as well. We will definitely be back!!
The chairs are so uncomfortable I will not be returning. It made for a very painful evening. The Smash burger was good but the Mac & Cheese was terrible.
