It’s a beautiful place, we did not stay here this time but i would love to do that next time. We did a stargazing tour at their property and it was a very surreal experience. The tour organizers understand the astronomy and tells some really interesting facts. They also offered us hot chocolate and cider along with blankets since it was extremely gold. Best part we were able to see satellite and milky way with the naked eye. Must recommend to do their stargazing tour.
This place is outside the Zion national park and seemed in the middle of nowhere. We drove in after dinner for check-in and their main store and check in was open. I was pleasantly surprised to see the activities offered at this place although we didn't try out anything as we stayed for just a night. We had a cowboy cabin with bunk beds which were comfortable. The cabin does feel small for 5 people though. There was a fire pit right outside our cabin with a bench as well. The breakfast was good too, not many options but not too less as well. The common showers and washrooms are well maintained and cleaned daily I believe. The hot water shower was indeed relaxing. In a nutshell, would definitely recommend this place to Zion visitors.
The stay was wonderful. The staff were all so kind and accommodating. We had some last minute changes and they did what they could to make it work for us. The food was tasty, the specialty lattes were worth it. The showers were nice for camp showers. The bathrooms were heated which was amazing. The hot tubs were lovely. All of the other guests were kind, pleasant people. Same for the staff. Even the grounds/maintenance guy stopped by to ask us how our stay was when we were packing up. Super nice guy. Can't say enough good things.
My three-day stay at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort was absolutely beautiful! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of Zion National Park. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the accommodations were top-notch, with clean and cozy cabins. The resort had a variety of activities to choose from, including horseback riding and zip-lining, as well as hiking trails that allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings. The facilities, including the pool and hot tub, were clean and well-maintained. The food was delicious, and the dining area had a great atmosphere. Overall, I had an incredible experience and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful vacation. 5 stars!
We spent the night at one of the beautiful cabins offered on this beautiful property! Such beautiful stars at night and such amazing sunrise. Laura was extremely attentive and had great customer skills. Breakfast is delicious so you definitely need to stop and have breakfast there. They have friendly horses, deers, and bison! The cabins were beyond cozy, with a nice fire place inside. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you Laura and Joe for being such great people! We loved the stay!
Loved our stay. We stayed in a cowboy cabin. It’s the perfect balance of camping and comfort. The front desk staff is super nice and accommodating. The firewood is reasonably priced and the hot tubs are a relaxing way to unwind after hiking all day in Zion National Park. Also it’s east of Zion National park so you avoid a lot of traffic when driving to the narrows, angels landing etc. 10/10 would recommend.
We stayed in the campsite in our own tent. The views were breathtaking - both at the resort and on the drive there. The bathrooms, which also had showers, were the cleanest bathrooms I've encountered at a campground. We also enjoyed their pool and hot tub area. The pictures included were taken on that is next to the resort.Hotel highlightsGreat view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
We stayed for two nights at a cabin it was very comfortable. The first day we had a jeep tour, the Thanksgiving Dinner was fantastic! The second day we went for horseback riding tour with two kids and Parker was very friendly and knowledgeable and it was a great experience for us all. All the resort staff is amazing!!!Rooms: 5/5
We rented a 5 bedroom cabin for our family. We came during winter and loved it. We lucked out with weather, it snowed the week before about 4-6 inches, then sunny during our visit. We didn’t have any issues with roads or traffic and the fresh snow looked over Zion looked amazing. We did some hiking and also did the “skeet” shooting its actually trap shooting. Dylan was our trap shooting guide, he uses a hand thrower and varies the difficulty of his throws based on the shooters skill level. Our group had a mix of skill and we all had fun, and Dylan was super cool and knowledgeable about all kinds of firearms. Our only gripe was with our cabin angles landing/cabin 24 it had some minor plumbing fixture issues, more than expected amount of spiders, the microwave didn’t work %100. It just needs some TLC is all. Overall we’d stay here again!
This place is a gem right outside of Zion National Park! During the scenic drive to this place, you’ll encounter lots of deer and rabbits. The place is beautiful and you can see the stars really well at night. Stayed in one of the cabin suites and it was very clean and upgraded. Bed was comfortable and shower was very nice! Would definitely stay here again!! Nearby activities: Zion National Park
