I always loved these play cafes. I get caffeine and a book while my grandchild plays with other kids. Very clean and safe.Food: 5/5
A nice place to get coffee with kids. I have a five and three year old and they were entertained through our whole stay. They have nice snack packs for the kids, with lots of healthy kid friendly options. The place is very clean and well organized.Food: 5/5
My 6 month old & I love coming here! The coffee is delish & the treats are even better. I would love to see some more space for soft play for babies under 1, where they can crawl/sit and play without being run into by the big kids : more exersaucers or standing toys would be great so us moms can sit and talk while our babies play safely. We come once a week or so and love the new updates to the Cafe area :
Great place to sit and enjoy a drink or a snack while your kids get to play! As an avid coffee drinker I've surprisingly not liked any coffee drink I've tried at the Cafe so far, but the bagels and baked goods are yummy! Everytime I visit spruce grove we come and play!
The best mocha I’ve ever had however we were the first people here at opening and the tables were dirty from the previous day along with crumbs on the play mat. There is a sign that says for older kids to watch out for the little ones but unfortunately we left early due to the older kids plowing over my little guy and the parents watch and don’t care. We came from Edmonton and probably won’t be returning
My kids love the Play Cafe but even more on days when Grasp Kits is there for fun sensory play! Can’t wait to eat all the ice cream and enjoy the play center this summer. They even have a great gluten free selection including gluten free ice cream cones. ItRecommended dishesBagel, Baby Cone, Affagato
We recently had our daughters first birthday party at the Play Cafe. It was an excellent place for her and her friends. We decided to do a Sundae bar and the ice cream is fantastic and everyone really enjoyed it. It was nice to have another option other then cake and cupcakes. Tara was very helpful setting everything up for us and got back to us very quickly with any inquires we had. We felt everything was very well organized and simple.
We love coming here for play dates, a day out of the house, and even we had a birthday party! Amazing. The staff are great! The owners are always fast at exchanging emails, and I enjoyed the confirmations & easy payment. They’ve made the birthday party so much less stressful for me! They decorate and clean up. Thank you so much for the amazing play Center! They also have great ice cream.
We had my daughters 1st birthday here. The booking was really easy with all the information I needed for the party immediately provided to me. The staff were great at having the place ready for us to go with the decorations and what not. The only thing I would say is that staff just seem uninterested.. almost unfriendly, especially for being a place that caters to children. Maybe just a bad day of course but I just felt odd. Either way we all had a great time and it was a nice open space for our party with good coffee and snacks.
This place has severely declined over the past months... since new ownership. They no longer have near the toys or books it had. All of the little riding toys are gone along with the small kitchen, etc. Now instead of being a place that centered around the children it is now focused on the adults. It has numerous fancy coffees but are not made well so are mediocre at best. The baked treats are okay. It is now a loud coffee house where children run wild while adults visit
