Great view and great location. I have eat in the restaurant. But I will try it tomorrow. This is a very small town and pretty much everything closed really early. This restaurant is the only thing that was open. These pictures are the view for this restaurant
Excellent lunch stop on a Sunday afternoon. Mixed crowd made for a cool atmosphere- families coming from church, campers travelling through and everything in between We had fish - fish&chips, fish bites, scallops and clams- all excellent! Also had a burger - tasty but extremely greasy, and poutine - one with curds, one with shredded cheese Great view of the water while eating I would definitely come back next time I’m in town!
We came here for lunch and waited over an hour for some overpriced and mediocre fish and chips. The staff just kept seating people and ringing in take out orders and at no point did they communicate to people that the wait would be about an hour. Once our groups food was ready some meals were missing, some were wrong. Absolutely not worth it.
When you can't decide between the lobster roll and the lobster club, you get both! Great food...Looks like the locals are regulars and spectacular view of the entire harbour emptying or filling with the tide. By the time you are done...it's a place where everyone will know your name!
Visited twice. Amazing seafood chowder. Full of delicious fish and seafood. Not a heavy broth, which is my preference. The clams and fish were fried perfectly light. The best of our trip! The ONLY negative thing I can say is they served the soup on our the second visit followed immediately by the entree. Please allow customers to finish the soup first!!
Just as awesome of a place as I remember. Great prices and great home cooked food. One of the best resturants around.
We stayed at the Five Island Provincial Park, and we made the trek here for breakfast during low tide - highly recommend you do the same! If you’re looking for breakfast you have to time it right as they stop breakfast at 12. Not only is this a really unique experience as you get a spectacular view of the bay, lighthouse and cliffs - but the food is top notch. I had lobster eggs Benedict and my daughter had a bacon and egg sandwich. My wife had normal eggs and sausage breakfast. The hollandaise sauce was buttery and not too lemony, the and the breakfast sandwich was perfect. After breakfast we had some home made pie and then took our dog for a walk down to the harbour around the dock - and what a great experience that was. We’ll never forget our breakfast at Harbour View during low tide!
Best fish and chips we have ever had! And we often fish ourselves back home and spent 6 weeks touring the east coast. We had an amazing meal and the staff are soo friendly. We visited on a Monday evening and this place was packed. Come early or call ahead because it is a hot spot. Clearly many people know about this gem. Wish I had a picture to share but honestly after the first bite we just devoured our beautiful meal before we could think to take a picture to share. I hope to be back again.
This is a great little stop when you are in Parrsboro. Great staff, good food, and a beautiful location right on the beach. We have been here several times and enjoyed it every time. The portions are overly huge. We ordered the hot hamburger sandwich and hamburger and cabbage soup. The sandwich was enough to feed two people, and the soup was delicious. It was so filled with ingredients, it almost seemed like chili. Tomas based, and wonderful. Would love that have that recipe.
Friendly servers, quick service, and beautiful view. Lots of parking and food was good value. We ordered the sandwich and fries and the seafood chowder. Both options were tasty and came out quick and hot. The only downside was that a lot of the menu options were not available on that Saturday evening. You can see the Parrsboro Lighthouse directly across the waters and the restaurant had a beautiful sunset view.
