A pretty average greasy spoon. It’s got good coffee and the service was friendly. She had a bit of a hard time keeping up, but made us feel welcome while we ate. The whole place is about 400 square feet with about fifteen tables.

Simple food cooked right. Friendly staff as well. It was very busy when we got in and I overheard the waitress say that they were short staffed because someone didn't show up to work. Despite this, we had prompt service and our food came out hot and delicious. Some of the reviews below are pretty ridiculous.

Waitress brought food but only for 2 there was 4 of us and later brought the rest out. Never bring till you have everyone's order. Fries were yummy and gravy was really good. The original burg was not that awesome. sorry. Staff was nice though.

I have been here on two separate occasions. Both times I waited an hour for our food. While both times it was delicious, It was an absurd amount of time to be waiting. The waitress also didn't bother to check for my coffee refill. Do not recommend this place, unless you have time to kill waiting for inefficient staff to bring your meal out.

Not sure where most of these people ate but we must have been elsewhere. We stopped for breakfast here and are still feeling ill. Burnt everything from eggs to home fries. 5$ more for fresh fruit got my wife a bowl of yogurt. Only fruit we saw was the jam on the table and it was made by kraft...stay clear save your money.

Was there today and our waitress barely said 5 words to us the entire time. Ordered our food and she just frowned and walked away. The other waitress working brought us our food when it was ready and didn't ask if we needed anything else. Then our original waitress did not return she was standing at their computer the entire time. I asked the second waitress for a glass of water which she never brought and when I asked our actual waitress again and told her I hadn't received it said she replied rudely with "ya I'm getting it for you!" as if I hadn't asked for it 10 minutes before. Won't be back. Try and smile maybe!

I got there 2 times for breakfast, both times the lady with grey hair served a group of white people who came after me, she did not even serve me coffee or water and never came to drop the menu, racist staff towards me african and a group of asians were ignored too. Clearly racist people, i had to leave and look for somewhere else to eat, Sucks

This rating is only because it's NOT celiac friendly, even though it came up that way when I searched on google. Very nice staff! Good looked good, but we couldn't stay.

Great food, excellent prices, friendly staff and not even a little bit pretentious. Gluten free option for toast was nice, I will stop here again if I'm driving through!

The food here is amazing. Big breakfast menu. I come here every time I'm in kenora. Possibly my favorite breakfast place.
