Story

The Pie Commission serves handmade savoury (and some sweet) 5" pies, born and baked in Toronto!
We offer a modern interpretation of the classic British-style savoury pie.
We make all of our pies from scratch, in-house, using only natural ingredients with nothing weird, that-you-can’t-pronounce added. This includes only premium cuts of Canadian meat, the freshest produce and homemade beef, chicken and vegetable stocks, all enveloped in a dangerously delicious all-butter crust.

The savoury pie has been reinvented.

Pies served baked hot or frozen and hot pies can be served with fresh handcut Fries, Mixed Green Salad or Coleslaw.

I've been wanting to try these for a while and im so glad i did. These pies were so good. The best part is the crust. It was buttery and flaky. I tried the steak and cheese and it was delicious. The pies are about 5inch and pretty decent size.
I was in New Zealand and ate their pies. These ARE true New Zealand pies. They may have few varieties available warm, but have a plethora of choices that are frozen. The only thing that we did not like was location - getting there from the freeway was convoluted, and parking is tight.
Delicious pies! The steak and cheese is the best. Highly recommend!! And for people ordering on the same day, it’s best to order in the morning as they sell out very quickly. I was lucky to only get one ready to eat steak and cheese. Thank you!!
Easy to order online. great pulled pork, beef pies. They also have dessert pies in store.
I have gotten takeout and also used the frozen delivery service. If you’re looking for great savoury pies, this is the place. They bake to perfection and make a great meal. Don’t forget to try the sausage rolls as well. You won’t be disappointed.
