Sue, who works in durable medical supplies, is a sweetheart and the ONLY reason I had considered this store for anything. She is helpful, goes the extra mile, and always has a smile or a laugh. Very personable person. Seems to enjoy helping people. Always felt I had her undivided attention, even when I didn't (usually staff would interrupt her). Sue is the absolute best person Pharmacy Counter hired (or held onto when bought Glendale Pharmacy). I have found the other people to be difficult to deal with on a regular basis. I would NEVER use the pharmacy thanks to pharmacy staff (not pharmacists). I have seen or heard these staff members be rude--no, EXTREMELY rude--make unwelcome comments (questionably racist to one younger African-American Man), and others--seem most interested in oldest generation who say nothing back when staff are rude. On the floor, it is often difficult to find assistance. More times than not I'm told to "sign the list," when all I had was a simple question, such as where to find "diabetic socks." (Not waiting 20-minutes or more for this-would it have ruined this person's day to stop for one moment)? I left. Happened next time, I left. There are too many other places that want to help and will do so nicely, with a genuine smile. I used to be a weekly durable supplies customer, but have taken business else where due to the treatment received when simply trying to get a quick answer. I've watched customer service and care go downhill since the Pharmacy Counter bought Glendale Pharmacy (which was always friendly, courteous, and willing to help and answer questions). Maybe problem is this Pharmacy Counter DOES NOT care about customers. I'd shut it down, restaff most positions (not move people around, but replace them), teach the new staff people-skills, service-skills, how to speak and care for customers, and only then reopen. As is, this Pharmacy Counter has BIG problems, but will NEVER admit it, instead believing they are nice people (maybe, but not at work). Attitudes begins at the top. If those at the top are insulant and rude, ignore customers, or just treat customers badly, the staff below these "supervisors" learn it's okay to insult customers, as if they are a menace, rather than those who pay your checks with their business; as if they don't matter. Those of you who are nasty-YES, NASTY--rude, and ignore (even when they approach you) regular customers and walk-in customers--who might become have become a fulltime customer if someone had stopped for one second to answer a question--and who are INSULANT should find jobs away from the public, whom they seem to detest dealing with

I went into this pharmacy the past week to pick up some medication and the lady who was working the cash register was extremely rude to me. Her name was Sharon (I made sure I got it after her attitude soured towards me) and she acted very snotty towards me. There was an issue locating my medicine which I found out had to be ordered and she was up at the register slamming bottles and baskets right in front of me because it was taking her awhile to figure out? I'm not sure why that was my fault but she sure seemed to feel like it was my issue and not hers. She became very short with every response to all my questions about my meds like this wasn't part of her job or something? I am amazed that someone like that can work in customer service as I have never had to deal with someone that rude and nasty before. At one point she just walked away from me without saying anything while I was in mid-sentence talking to her. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what but I did not deserve her nasty attitude that day. I never want to go here again and will be transferring my medications elsewhere thanks to this experience.
