An Enchanting Stay in the Heart of StratfordnnFrom our first interaction with the hotel staff until we departed the next day, our experience was truly exceptional. Without any prompt from us, we were upgraded to a top floor suite with a commanding view of the town square. I happened to mention we were there to celebrate our anniversary and when we returned from an afternoon matinee, there was a bottle of wine and two ambrosia-level treats from the town’s famous Rheo chocolatier.nnWe were pleased that even though this is a restored historical boutique hotel, there was no skimping on modern amenities including an elevator to the top floor. Room service was prompt and polite and everyone exuded an eagerness to make our stay one that would be outstanding.nnOur suite was large and comfortable, blending modern comfort with historical charm. The night was restful and rejuvenating. In the morning, it was an easy walk to check out stores and coffee shops in the town square across the street.nnWe could not have been better situated in the town. We were within easy walking distance of the Avon theatre, plus a multitude of restaurants for before and after meals. It was so satisfying to have our parking sorted so we could enjoy local sites with peace of mind.nnOur recent stay at the Parlour Inn in Stratford, Ontario, was simply exceptional from start to finish, and quite affordable, all things considered. A stay at the Parlour Inn is truly the best way to take in the Stratford Festival and all that this little town has to offer.
Absolutely stunning inn!! We stayed here for a night in December, so glad we did. The entire place was decorated for Christmas and it was beautiful. The staff were all extremely friendly snd helpful. The room was a decent size and very clean. They have a resturant on the main floor that was also stunning and full of decorations. We loved the time we spent here.
I had a wonderful experience during my stay. A young boy at the hotel went above and beyond to help me — he carried my baggage with such kindness and made sure I was comfortable. Moreover, the dinner was also excellent, with delicious food and attentive service. Overall, I’m very thankful for the great hospitality and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
We had a lovely stay at the Parlour Inn. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathrooms were fitted with lots of towels and great shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Staff were all friendly and attentive to any needs that arose. One problem was the parking lot was quite small and not shovelled in the winter: this didn’t hinder the experience.
The hotel has such nice ambience. The location is 2 minutes walk to the Avon Theatre, so convenient for theatre goers and to explore the great shopping in Stratford. We enjoyed a pleasant, well appointed room with some great amenities. Dinner and breakfast in the gorgeous restaurant were both enjoyable with great food and service. This hotel being quite old has so much character and is immaculate. A great place to stay in downtown Stratford.
