Nice pub atmosphere with a good variety of beers on tap and in bottle. Fish fry was excellent - I went with perch, but haddock, bluegill and walleye were options
Am new to town and realtor recommended for a burger. Have been there several times now, there is nothing better than a bar burger. Beer is good. Service is good. Prices are not bad. New to a small town so it is difficult to meet people, but customers seem to be friendly.
The burgers are 8 oz of hand pattied beef. In my opinion they are the best burgers in Waupun. They just updated their kitchen and it helps to get orders out faster. They also have daily specials, I have had their wing special 1/2 pound $2.50 or 1 pound $5.00 and are very good. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to spend some time with family or friends.
Really great tasting 1/2 lbs. burgers. And there homemade chippers are excellent! Plus our bartender was AWESOME!! She was so friendly and just made is feel right at home. really nice for first timers we had heard great reviews about this place so we had to check it out. We were not disappointed. Be back soon!
Food was good. Nice beer selection. I can't wait for people to get off there butts and go to work because this place like most places in the service industry need help. Even though they seemed a little short handed the experience was a good one. We are new to town and think we make this our to go to place.
Great place to have a couple drinks and eat bar food. They have a few things here that you can't find elsewhere. So far we haven't been disappointed & service was good. I Definitely Recommend checking this place out.
Sat at the bar for almost 20 minutes and didnt get served. Kept being told they needed to quick serve others and would be back. Ended up leaving without being served to go to a different bar.
Always have excellent food here. Place gets very busy on Friday nights. Bartenders and waitstaff are very friendly.
Not our first time eating here but first time we have gotten an appetizer. Hands down the best beer battered cheese curds I have ever eaten!! I usually like the breaded kind vs beer battered but these were amazing!! My husband and I sat at the bar and we were able to eat right at the bar. It was very comfortable no lip on the bar so it wasn't awkward to try and eat our fish fry. He got the blue gill with hot German potato salad. I thought the potato salad had a little too much vinegar, but im picky. He really liked it. He loved his fish also. I got the 2 piece haddock with chippers. Fish was amazing, lite batter not heavy and greasy. The chippers came with a French onion dip but it wasn't very strong, it has been better. My chippers were pretty greasy and soggy, I've had better there also. I like them crispy! Very nice place to eat. I highly recommend Friday night fish fry! We have not ventured further on the menu but my son says the burgers are great!
My very first time at The Other Bar and I’m very pleased with my experience! Was served immediately and ordered food, beer cheese = AMAZING friendly staff and nice environment, definitely want to come back!
