My friend was recommended this place, so we thought we’d start our night here. What an amazing experience from the moment we walked in we were greeted and accommodated considering how busy it was. I really like the atmosphere, the colours, the wood the warmth and design. The service was next level the best recommendations, drinks made on the spot according to what we were feeling. The bartenders knowledge and service was fantastic. The food was truly amazing the dumplings were the of the night, we ordered more than a couple orders. I definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Halifax!
Had a wonderful first experience at The Ostrich Club in the hydrostone celebrating my partners graduation today. We tried all kinds of the amazing dishes that they offered. Each one better than the other. This was easily one of the best dining experiences I have had in Halifax! Our server Lindsay did a good job, and all of the cocktails were incredible. I now see why this is considered one of the best restaurants in Halifax!
We reserved a table for the Valentine's day and it's above my expectations. The food is uniquely decorated, cooked, and seasoned, reminding me of European and Mediterranean flavors. We even ordered a pork collar to take home and it's delicious! Restaurant layout and setting is warm, cosy, yet chic and classy. Their staff are professional and welcoming. Totally satisfied and highly recommended
It was our first time dining at The Ostrich Club. We ordered the arctic char, beef short rib, beef tartare, and wild boar tacos. Every dish looked and tasted amazing. Great textures and flavours. The service was also fantastic. Easily one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in the HRM!
The Ostrich Club provided one of the best meals I've had in Halifax. The space was warm and elegant, and they played hip hop throughout the night, which worked for me. The service from Nathalie and the rest of the team was excellent. For all the ingredients listed in the cocktails, the flavours were subtle, but overall, the drinks were tasty. Many of the dishes I tried were knockouts. The Ostrich Club could only serve pulled noodles, and I'd be happy. The shrimp dumplings had so many toppings that they verged on carnival food, but in all the right ways. The rich dark chocolate mousse was one of the best desserts I've had in recent memory. If there was a low note, it was the truffle fried rice. There were too many fatty and oily components in the wrong proportions for me. However, one person at the table said it was their favourite dish, so what do I know. Overall, it was an outstanding meal. I'm already planning my next visit.

It was an unbelievable experience. The cocktails are out of this world . XO drink is highly recommend. I love this place it’s small and cosy yet lively and fun. A great night out with friends or spouses for dinner and drinks.
This was the best meal that I’ve had in Halifax. It was a cascade of deliciousness. Bring your friends who appreciate excellent cuisine, order everything on the menu, share and make sure to get lots of bread to soak up the exquisite sauces. And don’t forget to indulge in the whimsically themed cocktails ours was Taylor Swift based - and I ordered the “Bad Blood”.
By far one of the most incredible culinary experiences in Halifax. Having tried many of their competitors I have to say that The Ostrich Club exceeded our every expectation. This restaurant is frequently compared to Bar Kismet but in all regards I have to say that The Ostrich Club is far superior. The service was impecable, the food was a flavour explosion in every bite and the overall ambiance of the restaurant could not be beat. The entire evening was perfect down to the last detail. Highly recommend to any and all looking at trying something new. Our favourites were definitely the beef cheek and the gnocchi. We wish the meal would never end! We will definitly be back soon!

Fantastic time at The Ostrich Club. Loved the kitsch of the themed cocktails currently Seinfeld related, REALLY loved that every cocktail was super delicious. The shrimp dumplings are a must have we ordered a second batch, but all the food was yummy with great flavorFood: 5/5
