Been since 1973 Harry's  was the last time in this great place.. I'm returning to Toronto and will stop by for memories sake a few beers and some food. Awesome.

Southern Parkdale's long-time residents rejoiced when this lovely, affordable old-school diner re-opened post-"Harry's" LOVED "Harry's Burgers" too! in the capable hands of Penny and her family; it's my go-to restaurant come 'Phase Three' for delicious breakfasts on-the-cheap, good company and cool people preparing your food with an eye for detail and value. I just picked up phase two- COVID measures in place a clubhouse sandwich with more Fantastic Fries than one person can eat: marvellous! Be sure to give them a ring on your way home from a day on the lakefront @ King St. W/Jameson, say hello and grab some amazing food on your way home : ...located in the 'No-Frills' mini-plaza just west of Jameson @ King St. W  Edit October 26th 2022: oh, man. I just enjoyed a burger so good it didn't even touch the sides going down. So delicious, in a world of "Burger Wars!"  ...and the fries were insane. Rainy day comfort food- Dudes. Highly recommended  Edit November 26th 2022:  ...once again. DEVOURED another fantastic hamburger- w/the Best Fries Ever; can't even tell you, Parkdalians- "The Originals" boast some pretty insane burgers. Their fries? Lol they're why I swim. No shizz- delicious.

This Sunday I went in around 2:00. They were busy so I sat in the corner. 15 year first. Both doors open made a beautiful breeze. The sun had just come onto my side. Half open wooden blinds brightened up the shelves of plants ...and my day. Felt like I was at the cottage. Technically we were by the lake but you know what I mean. Cold beer and the best roast beef dip I've ever had. Staff were great. Again. Thanks.

While visiting my family in Parkdale we decided to order food in and check out your restaurant. Wow!!  Still piping hot when delivered, Good portions. I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich with a small salad. Huge! I couldnt eat it all so i finished it next day for lunch. My son and wife had the club. It was made with real chicken. They shared a poutine. To add to our feast we had milkshakes. We will definitely be ordering from or visiting your place again.

Cozy atmosphere with old fashioned booths and nice wooden interior and classic signs. Really impressed with the low prices and great customer service. It was a packed house when we were there and our order was accidentally missed by the cook and took much longer than expected. The server took 50% off our whole bill, which was more generous than needed for the small inconvenience. Breakfast was simple and delicious fluffy scrambled eggs and tasty sausage with rye toast, and the sandwiches at other tables looked great. Will definitely be back to try the hot sandwiches!

For patrons searching for that legendary Harry's burger beware, you will not find it here. Though they've managed to keep the vibe of the older place mostly intact though the laugh/love planks are pretty awful, the burgers just aren't that great. The food and drinks are extremely cheap though so I'd recommend this place for a night out for or after drinking but not for a good meal.
