The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse

About

The Celtic Heart of the Maritimes! Food for the body, Drink for the spirit, Music for the soul. Great food, lots of draughts, live music!

Story

The notion of the pub dates back to the 17th century, when the public house was a gathering place where people met to discuss the issues of the day and to raise a glass at the end of a hard day’s work. The Old Triangle is this place. The Old Triangle was created in 2000 by three Irishmen, and remembers an ancient time when a grouping of three, or triad, was regarded as a symbol of good luck. Our three-room concept; the Snug, The Pourhouse, and Tigh an Cheoil (house of music), is ideally suited to our belief in the three most important ingredients of a memorable occasion;

Food for the body, Drink for the spirit and Music for the soul!

I just had Killybegs fish burger & sweet potato fries w/ curry aioli ~ it was to die for!! This is my new favourite place to eat in Moncton! I highly recommend them!!
Great atmosphere, tables very distant from each other and great music. Service was really quick even though it was busy. Try the pink lemonade !
Went at lunchtime. Very dead, but we noted it was hopping on a Friday evening. Very good fish chowder. Chef did skimp on the sauerkraut on the Reuben. Excellent service and server was very knowledgeable about the brew and food.
Had the pan fried haddock, fantastic. Had the bacon covered scallops, delicious... And the Guinness brownie, omg...great service, incredible selection of beers, spacious, with a patio... Totally recommend.
Great food, amazing atmosphere. A great place to grab a beer and listen to some local live music. Prices are medium-high I found but was not disappointed in the quality.
Food was good. It was quiet. The service was great. The prices are reasonable.
Food was ok. Great atmosphere
Good food and great music. Fun place for all ages. One of the local favourite appetizers is the potato nachos! Definitely a must try.
I liked the fish cakes.. loved onion rings..
